The Daily Barn has officially become our spring-time getaway. Its always peaceful, quiet and close to town. Its always clean and cozy. The cattle are curious and fun to watch. Julie is always quick to respond and self check in is easy. Thank you, Julie!
The house was wonderful, peaceful, comfortable, cozy and had everything we needed. Julie and Henry were quick to respond and great hosts. Our dog got sick and had to be hospitalized a few days in Lufkin and Julie was so kind asking how he was doing. The cattle are very curious and will stand in the path to the house each time we arrived back there but we found out a quick honk of the horn gets them moving along. Lol I think they thought we were bringing them something to eat. We so enjoyed watching them grazing in the pasture. The calf is precious. Thank you for sharing your "peace" of Heaven with us.
We were in the area for Super Saturday at SFA. This property was such a beautiful place to really enjoy the peace and quiet that rural life is known for. The converted dairy barn is a step back in time turned modern rustic style. The house is just perfect and comfortable. Even the cows were such a welcome addition! It was so fun to see them in their element. We traveled with 2 large dogs. There is more than enough room for them to enjoy their stay as well! If our son decides to attend SFA we will definitely be staying here for visits! Julie is a wonderful host. Responsive to inquires, extremely accommodating and just really a kind soul. Julie thank you for sharing your piece of heaven with our family! We absolutely loved our time!
This property was wonderful! An old dairy barn has been converted into the cutest place out in the country! It was peaceful, the cows were curious, and just a great place for us to getaway.
The host was a great communicator and answered everything immediately.
Definitely a place we will return to!
I grew up in East Texas in a little town 20 mins from this house and as soon as I pulled into the property I got that “home” feeling that I remembered when living in the country. Walked into the house and it was perfect! Had everything you need for a stay of a few days or a few weeks. Great modern/country blend feel. Our daughter is at SFA and we will book here from now on. Far enough out to enjoy the country quietness and sky but also just a short drive to Nacogdoches. Thank you Julie!!
Daughter truly had a great start here, while she got ready for her wedding! Bridesmaids also got dressed here, a perfect place for pics and to stay after the ceremony… loved it!
We stayed at this property for a weekend and really enjoyed our stay. The rental was so clean and decorated so nicely. It was very quiet and gave a beautiful view of the stars at night.
We had a great time at the property. It’s super cute and would stay again. The owner was very responsive with communication. It was well stocked and very comfortable. Thank you so much!
At first, I thought, "not staying in a refurbished dairy barn". But did it and glad we did!! This old dairy barn has been turned into a perfect place to stay near the oldest town in Texas, Nacogdoches. We enjoyed being just a few miles from the center of town and really any parts of town...grocery, churches, great restaurants. Also, if fishing is your goal then there are at least 3 wonderful lakes for doing that. We were blessed to have beautiful weather the four days we stayed in the country so we enjoyed walking our two mini aussies in the fields (just be cautious of the cattle as they are curious about you and give the bull due respect). The barn is set up to have a gorgeous view out the french doors and we watched the cattle up close and viewed with binoculars a herd of deer several days in the far pasture near the trees. We didn't get to sit much on the patio but it was a very nice viewing point as well. We needed this quiet, peaceful stay in the country. We missed WiFi just a little bit but were able to use our hotspot to get FreeVee and other Amazon Prime channels. The huge shower in the bathroom was a nice luxury. A grab bar on the side wall would be a nice addition to it. The kitchen is very useable. Check with Julie about any specific cooking needs you may have. She was very responsive to any concerns or needs we had. She checked by text with us each day. We were so pleased with our stay and recommend that everyone visit "the Barn" and Nacogdoches.
