In the Shenandoah Valley with magnificent views of the Blue Ridge Mountains we offer comfortable log cabins situated in a pasture overlooking Lazy Acres Equestrian Center. Just 2 miles from the Virginia Horse Center, the east coast's biggest horse event park with shows going on all year, and 5 m from historical Lexington's fine restaurants and shops. 5 miles to Washington & Lee and VMI Campuses.

Relax on the porch with one of the best views in Rockbridge County, surrounded by fields of horses. In the cabin on the ground floor there is a king size bedroom, a full size fouton in the living room and the kitchen and bathroom with washer/dryer. A spiral staircase to the loft has two single beds and a balcony. The cabin is fully equipped with everything you need to make your stay carefree.

A couple of miles away the river meanders with the road at Goshen Pass, an amazing gorge with swimming holes and great fishing and hiking, one of the counties unspoiled treasures.

We have stables and turnout available for your horses. Come on vacation with your horses. Boarding available.
The huge arena is available for rent for clinics or shows.

Great Cabin

Reunion of friends

Arrival flawless & everything exactly as promised. Took advantage of info in cabin on hiking trails and nearby restaurants. Kitchen/bathrooms furnished with everything we needed. And beds were wonderful. We will definitely stay at this beautiful place again!!!

Family Reunion

This was a perfect location to get away to as we were in town for a family reunion - property is great for kids and older adults as well - loved that it only had a few steps for my mother and that it had the loft area for my son. Amanda was quick to respond with any questions and this was a great Vrbo listing!

Such a wonderful cabin!

This cabin was great! Very clean, stocked with lots of towels, kitchen items, paper towel, etc. the views were incredible and the porch is awesome! Wish we could have hung out there more but our daughter was competing in the 4-H Horse show and we had to be there a lot, but luckily that was only 2 miles away! I highly recommend this cabin! They made it very cozy and we wouos love to go back and enjoy it more!

perfect long weekend get away

The cabin at Lazy Acres is cozy, comfortable, clean, and has the most fabulous view of the mountains. It is just minutes from downtown Lexington. Enjoyed a long weekend at Lazy Acres and would definitely recommend to others!

Beautiful!!

We stopped here for a two night stay on our way to Tennessee and could not have been any happier!! It was even more beautiful than the pictures, clean, comfortable and absolutely gorgeous property! We enjoyed walking around the farm and the cabin was perfect for our family of 5 and our dog. It was great to meet Amanda too! Would definitely highly recommend and we would love to return in the future!!

Beautiful and peaceful location!

Our family of 5 greatly enjoyed our time at the cabin! It is charming and so relaxing, set amongst the rolling hills and overlooking pastures. We were in town for graduation at W&L and appreciated having the deck to grill out with family. Highly recommend this sweet cabin and the hosts.

Great weekend away

Beautiful spot to spend the weekend. Cabins are cozy and have all you need, the views and nearby horses add extra fun for the little ones. Close to cute downtown Lexington and a bunch of great hikes. We will be back, thank you Amanda!!

Lazy Acres Horse Farm

Your cabin worked out very well for us. It was clean, all needed kitchen utensils were there, the beds were comfortable, close to the horse park, a very good experience.

Loved The Cabin

This was the perfect property for us to stay at during the week of our sons graduation at W&L. We all had a home base to rest and relax between all of the activities! Very clean and Cozy!
