The A-frame had an issue so Zach put me over in the bigger treehouse. It’s in the perfect spot for elk viewing and so many places to visit all around. If you’re coming in the fall this is your spot.
Would definitely recommend this property, we ended up staying in the big treehouse as the property owner said there were issues with the small treehouse, Zack the owner was very gracious to answer any questions I had…beautiful place to stay!!
Visited for a couple of nights w/ my pup to explore the surrounding area.. Compact, clean & comfortable. After the rains stopped the balcony over the woods amazing for morning or evening . Hosts responsive & helpful

No water, rained in on the bed !
It's a cute place but needs to be cleaned. Cobwebs every where and spiders. Floors are buckled from all the water on the floor.Toilet paper shredded from some animal chewing it. No water to shower and only a small amount from the bathroom sink! It was raining and the water was splashing off the tree trunk that runs up through the cabin and had us and the bed wet!! Now that's what I call ruffing it!
Upon checking in, Zach (the host) told me there was an issue with the bed and he recommended I stay in another of his properties. Well the original was a small A frame tree house which I knew when I booked it. What he graciously put me in was a two story tree house house with no additional payment required. The place was beautiful, well built and maintained. I believe he is part owner of the ice cream place just a minute walk away. I have to say that their ice cream is delicious so be sure to get some. What more could you ask for than eating an ice cream on the back deck and watching elk walk by. I saw a bull and a cow go by. I highly recommend staying here. Plus it’s a 2 minute drive to the visitor center and minutes from the best elk viewing areas.
