Very charming and tastefully renovated cabin w/ AC
Overall a very cute, charming and recently renovated cabin in a tasteful style-- definitely has a very Joanna Gaines/Magnolia vibe to it. Everything is brand new. A few points:
1. Very comfy new mattresses. Seemed like semi-firm memory foam high-end mattresses, bravo. Great night's sleep.
2. The cabin is quite small (about 950 sq ft), so it's ideal for a couple or couple with 1-2 small children. I would not recommend this unit for two couples as there's only one shower downstairs and it's just too small for 4 adults.
3. The bathroom upstairs is lovely (again very modern farmhouse furnishing) with a claw tooth bathtub but no shower upstairs.
4. The front yard area is very thoughtfully redone: corn hole, fire pit w/ propane gas, big hammock and plenty of room.
5. For dog owners: the yard is about 70% fenced off, so it's not a fully enclosed yard and dogs can get out into the street if not monitored.
6. A/C: this cabin has A/C which is amazing and very rare for Lake Arrowhead cabins, it was great to have this option as one day it got pretty hot and the A/C did its job.
The one downside of this cabin I'd say is the location: it is literally right on the highway so while it's quiet at night-time during sleep hours thankfully, if you're sitting out by the fire-pit you will definitely hear the noise and schoom of constant traffic, oftentimes with noisy ATVs for old trucks with mufflers removed.
Otherwise very lovely cabin and stay.
