Cozy cabin retreat on Mountaintown Creek Ellijay GA Close to orchards & wineries
Mountaintown Retreat is the perfect getaway for you and your family and friends. Overlooking a large expanse of private creek access, our spacious cabin offers a harmonious blend of modern comfort and mountain charm. The cabin has 4 large bedrooms, 4 full baths, and a fully equipped kitchen with all you’ll need.
Located on 9 acres with a groomed trail and private access to Mountaintown Creek, there’s plenty to do without leaving the property. In the summer tie up tubes and float in the cool, fresh mountain water. On chilly nights gather around the fire pit for s’mores and stargazing. Morning coffee on the screened porch is probably our favorite. The inviting living room is affectionately known as the “Zen Den” as it’s the perfect place for your group to gather and relax.
The cabin is equipped with all that you'll need and downtown Ellijay & Blue Ridge are close by. Local activities include wineries, orchards, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, shopping, and more.
We have a 5 star rating on the other major homestay site. Please reach out with any questions you might have.

Hi I’m Debbie. I grew up in Georgia and currently call Savannah my home. My husband served 20 years in the Air Force so I feel fortunate to have a multitude of travel and experiences from that time.
Why they chose this property
My Dad bought this property back in the 80s so we have a lot of family memories here. It's a great place to disconnect and just relax. We love floating in the creek, fires at night, and coffee on the porch in the morning.
What makes this property unique
We're not in a typical cabin rental area which we love. Although the area has become more popular recently, staying at our cabin is more of a "local" experience than most.
