Beautiful home in a beautiful spot

The home is a fun place to stay. It felt like home and offered a perfect spot to explore the area. The walk to the river offered beautiful views and a peaceful retreat. We liked it very much

Great location

This is a great location. The trail leading down to the creek was a real treat. The house is comfortable and easy to access. We had a temporary issue with the hot water but was able to resolve it ourselves. Our puppies really enjoyed being able to have so many places to sniff and explore. The caretaker, John, was a super nice guy.

Sedona Stay

This was a great place to stay. Very peaceful and quiet. House was well appointed with a comfortable bed. An excellent location to explore the Sedona area, and also a 2 hour drive to the Grand Canyon.

Sedona hideaway

Everything about the guest house was perfect except the height of the bed, hard for old people like us to get in and out of. There was a step provided though.

Quiet lovely time

The house was lovely for two people. Small backyard for our dog was nice. Property was very quiet and peaceful. The property (main house, barn, this cabin have a fence border). There were people in the barn next to us and the main house but we never interacted with them. Kitchen had the basics. Everything clean. Lighting was a bit dim though. Traffic into the central part of town ( 3 miles/ 7 min) was crazy at 30min-1hour around 2pm on Saturday and Sunday. Luckily we were always trying to come back in the opposite direction at those times and it didn’t affect us too much. Good luck. Learned a lot about logistics in sedona from this trip.

Has potential…

This VRBO is in a great location – a beautiful neighborhood, close to beautiful things. However, even upon just driving up to the property, we noticed that care has not been taken on a lot of details. For instance, where we parked for our stay, we were facing a barn window that is filled with junk. The natural area outside the kitchen/living room of our rental hasn’t been cared for. Our screened in patio was messy and not very clean upon arrival. Within the house itself, there are a lot of details that have not been taken care of: one curtain rod was hanging partially off the wall, one lamp that can only be turned on or off by screwing the lightbulb in or loosening it, the luggage rack needs to be re-glued, etc. The kitchen is very nice and the mattress on the bed is good; the sofa bed (which we had to request sheets for upon arrival) mattress isn’t so great. Overall, now that we’ve been to Sedona and seen what else is available, we could have found a much more well-cared-for rental for about 100 more a night, which would have been worth it. This place has potential but needs attention.
