About this property
New! Cabin in the heart of Tug Hill, close to Salon River Reservoir and trails!
Welcome to our charming cabin, “Reservoir Ridge Retreat!" Nestled in the picturesque landscape of the Tug Hill Plateau, this cozy cabin offers an unparalleled experience for outdoor enthusiasts seeking excitement and relaxation. Grab your gear and venture into the wilderness! Hop on the nearby ATV or snowmobile trails and explore miles of scenic backcountry. For the avid anglers, the Salmon River and reservoir is minutes away and offers world class fishing. After an adventurous day, come enjoy a relaxing fire on our new patio firepit.
Enjoy a cozy cabin setting on a private 1.5 acres in the heart of Redfield. The cabin is located on a year-round road and has ample off-street parking for all your vehicles and toy haulers. Once you enter the cabin you will find rustic decor with all the modern amenities. Downstairs is a full bath with shower. There is also a laundry area and main bedroom on the first floor, along with open kitchen, living and dining areas. Relax and watch a movie on one of two smart TVs in the home after a long day outdoors. Upstairs you will find a roomy loft with 3 queen sized beds, two twin beds and foosball table/ card games for some friendly competition. Outside, sink into our Adirondack chairs surrounding the firepit of the new custom patio. The cabin is ~half mile from the nearest snowmobile trail, right on our road.
Guest access: You will have access to the whole home. No access to separate garage or shed will be provided.
Other things to note: The home has a propane heater and pellet stove for heating in the cooler months. The home may be chilly when you enter but warms up quickly once the pellet stove is turned on. The pellet stove does require the guest to fill the hopper when empty, pellets are provided. Our water is supplied by a well. Water is clean and suitable for showering, cooking (boiled) and cleaning dishes. Since this is not a full-time, lived-in home, the water should not be used for drinking. At least one gallon of drinking water will be available upon arrival, but please also bring your own for the duration of your stay. Refunds for unforeseen weather or lack of snow will not be provided.

About the host
Hosted by Alicia Frelier

My husband and I are from Rochester NY and purchased a vacation home in Tug Hill for us to enjoy with our young children in both in the summer and winter months. We enjoy hosting so other families can make great memories as well.
Why they chose this property
Great location as its central to all the best things to do in the area. ~25 minutes to world class fishing on the Salmon River, or 2 minutes to the Salmon River Reservoir for fishing or boating. About a half mile to the snowmobile trails. Under an hour to the 1000 islands and Old Forge areas as well.
What makes this property unique
Great layout with plenty of sleeping room. New patio and firepit makes enjoying the outdoors even better. Creek out the back is relaxing to listen to.
