About this property

Charming 2 bedroom 2 bath beach cottage only 3 blocks from Twin Lakes State Beach. The recently updated kitchen is well equipped for all your cooking needs. The living room has a gas fireplace and a smart TV. The queen master bedroom has a smart TV and bathroom with tub, shower and laundry area. 2nd bedroom has a twin over full bunk bed. The 2nd bathroom has a shower. Linens, towels and wi-fi are provided.

Neatly landscaped and fully enclosed front yard with lounge seating on the deck, gas BBQ, hammock in the garden, outdoor fireplace, and large teak dining table on the patio. Tropical outdoor shower with warm water. Beach chairs, coolers and beach umbrellas are provided, all you need to bring is your bathing suit.

The cottage is close to the Yacht Harbor and Crow's Nest restaurant. It's located at the end of the street with plenty of parking and privacy. The yard is fully enclosed so pets are safe. We are happily pet friendly.

Break from Winter

The cottage was really thoughtfully put together. And very well stocked with things that made it very comfortable. Instructions about how to use things ie: fireplace/a/c/patio lights etc were clear and everything worked perfectly. I loved the privacy of the yard and spent a good amount of time on the front porch. All in all it was lovely

A great place to explore the Monterey Bay region

We spent a month at the house in early 2025 to get out of the Midwest cold. The house met all our expectations and needs.Checkin was a breeze and the hosts included a welcoming gift for us and the dog.The house was as described and comfortable. The bed in the main bedroom was comfy and the bathrooms had all amenities needed.We (especially the dog) enjoyed the fenced in yard. The hammock, deck, grill, and firepit were all handy and functional albeit a little cold for the season of our stay.The beach is 3 blocks down the street, Plenty of area to walk and the dog to chase balls and waves. The Harbor is a also a fun place to walk and see all the ships and sailboats. We heard seals but didn't see them.All in all, the house was perfect for our needs.

Lovely cottage for friends & family, and dog friendly

Great spot. Super clean. Enjoyed the fenced in yard for the pups. Lots of nice amenities, plenty of towels, wood for the outdoor fireplace. Extra nice touch was the dog treats and wine as a welcome. Highly recommend.

Quiet and cozy cottage

This is our second time at the beach cottage and our family & doggy love it! Our Aussie loves spending time in the fenced yard following all the squirrels. We love it because it is cozy, well decorated and equipped. We highly recommend.

Awesome rental!

We had a great time in Santa Cruz! This is a cute little cottage! It is at the end of a dead end street which made it really quiet and peaceful. We loved the fenced in yard for our dog. The interior is decorated with a beautiful beach theme. The attention to detail makes this place above any other rental. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The hosts have a large notebook in the cottage with information on restaurants, things to do, maps as well as all the different beaches. I had never been to Santa Cruz and found this very helpful. We would highly recommend this beach cottage!

Great spot!

I don't want to hype this place too much because I love it and plan to go back again. 🙂♥️ I stayed a few days with just myself and my little dog the first time, I went. And then came back with my sister & nephew. First stay the hosts left a bottle of wine for me and treats for my dog. I was able to stay again with my sister. This time they left a complete s'mores kit which we enjoyed. Great spot. Super convenient. Will definitely be back. :)

Perfect!

This was our first time visiting Santa Cruz. We loved this little house with privacy and fenced in yard for our dog. Standing at the end of the street you can see the beach. This is one of our favorite vacation rentals.

Home away from home-plus!

We were blown away by the attention to detail of this place! From the welcome wine, and dog treats to the abundance of luxurious towels/linens. Nothing was missing! Even the outdoor fire was ready to go! It is stylishly appointed and extremely comfortable! Loved every bit of being there!!

Cute cottage near the harbor

Very clean and updated kitchen and bathrooms. Perfect spot for me and my small dog for a long weekend. I'm already back here again now with my sister and nephew for his fall school break. :) Really nice hosts, they left wine for my first stay and treats for the dog. I will be staying again.

Perfect Santa Cruz Hide-Away

Three blocks from the Twin Lakes Beach, less than a mile from The Boardwalk and Seabright Beach ... all really walkable. Hidden away at the end of a short dead end street. Far enough from the Main street to be quiet but also close enough to hop onto with ease. Very pet friendly, especially with the enclosed front yard. Very nice place to stay.

Loved this cottage in Santa Cruz!

What a charming cottage at the end of the dead end street. Walk to the harbor, Twin Lakes Beach and several dining places. We go to Santa Cruz annually with our two labrador retrievers - it is their annual beach vacation. They get to swim at the beach, and we get to relax in the ocean air. This darling place has been recently updated and is super clean and super well stocked with more than most other places we have rented. The beds are comfortable, the large walk in shower is wonderful, and the kitchen is super updated and clean and well stocked! Thanks to the owner for the welcome bottle of wine and the doggie treats for our two fur babies.

Perfect Santa Cruz Beach House!

We had an amazing time staying here, the house is tucked back on a dead end street and you feel cozy and private in the perfect front yard, it definitely embraces the indoor/outdoor living! The house is clean and updated and so cute and makes you feel right at home! I normally don't sleep well on vacation because of the mattress always hurts me but the main bed was so comfortable and I honestly slept so good! The location was perfect and just a short walk to the beach, and a short drive to everything else. Pam and Kim have amazing communication and are so nice, thank you both for opening up your home and sharing it for all to enjoy!

The sweet spot!

What a lovely little home! We were attending a family reunion in Santa Cruz, so didn’t spend a ton of time “at home,” but this was a wonderful comfortable home to come home to at night to unwind, and to slowly start the day with coffee in the mornings. This place is extremely well-appointed and well-stocked with everything you need and more. Especially enjoyed the Welcome bottle of wine! Highly recommend if you are going to be staying in Santa Cruz!

Didn't want to leave!

The cottage is adorable with a nicely laid out (and stocked) kitchen. But the delight is the yard - from the lounge chairs and the outdoor dining to the hammock and the outdoor fireplace, it's magical. Quiet, and a quick walk to the beach. Hoping to stay here again in the future.

Cozy beach house

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay at this cozy little beach house. Having two full bathrooms and two nice bedrooms was perfect, and the washer/dryer was a huge plus. The kitchen had plenty of cookware, utensils, dishes, and even a few pantry staples - so appreciated! Pam and Kim really thought of everything! We loved being able to walk to the beach and restaurants too. Highly recommend!

This little beach bungalow is compact with just enough room to be cozy and comfortable. Well stocked and private. The master bed was dreamy and the shower was perfect. Loved the fenced in front yard for my dog who loved laying on the cool grass. Highly recommend and we will return

Cutest Beach Cottage!

This cute beach cottage was just perfect for our family of four! Perfect location and so comfortable, with absolutely everything we could have possibly needed! We loved that we were able to bring our pup with us on this trip. The yard was so nice and we were thrilled with the wood burning fireplace outside - what a fun addition! Thank you for everything!
