Frustrating property

Let me start by saying the apartment is beautiful and looks just like the pictures, there is no problem there. It's clean, safe, and the view is beautiful! But that's where the good part ends. It's worth noting that most of the complex is abandoned and unusable, including recreation areas. When we arrived the keypad was not working, and the link we were sent with instructions/directions was not working either. Communicating with hosts is slow and frustrating because they only message through the app. We were locked out for about an hour going back and forth through the app, trying different ways to get the door open. Eventually we were able to access a physical key to get inside. For the duration of our stay the keypad issue was not fixed. When we finally did get inside, there was no shower curtain in the master bedroom. We scrambled around and found one, and hung it ourselves. Several shades in the windows were missing or did not work. During our stay there were heavy rains, and one of the bedrooms flooded with water leaking from the ceiling and wall! There were no cleaning supplies (mop, broom, disinfectant, etc) so we didn't have a good way of cleaning up the puddles of dirty water. We contacted the hosts and they reached out to maintenance, but we saw no one that came to inspect/fix the issue. The hosts are kind, professional, and accommodating. It was just disappointing having so many issues with the property.

PR Getaway

The unit is very nice, clean, and presents well. The development as a whole is fairly run down. The unit was very spacious and served us well. Our omly issue was not having hot water and not being told until day 3 that there was a switch that needes to be turned on. Seems it would be simple to have it on in advance of a guest. The area was mostly uninhabited while we were there except for 2 nights when we had very loud music and guests below us. Not the owners fault. It was nice having the gated entrance and was simple to come and go. Overall, your 30 min from San Juan, directly across from El Yunque and very convenient to beaches and food options.
