Friendly luxury!

This property is beautiful, quiet, and roomy, with killer views of the river. The owners were very professional and friendly and the whole experience was completely stress free. The cabin had every amenity and was stoked up with all the basic necessities, very clean. We did not even need to take our trash with us at check out, which is a common request in other properties in the valley. This is the third cabin I have rented in the park and definitely the best. the cabin sleeps lots of people and is pet friendly . I recommend it as a shared rental for a couple of families with kids to split the costs and have the most fun ! thnak you for a great time!

Some miscommunication, but an overall nice stay

The property and amenities were lovely. To no fault of the hosts, cell reception was very limited which made communication for check in and check out challenging and led to some miscommunication and frustration from both the guests and the hosts. Despite the miscommunication, I would still recommend this property and host for future stays.

Awesome Getaway

Really lovely stay, the cabin was beautiful and felt very cozy. It was clean and had all the dishware we needed. A previous review I'd read before visiting mentioned that the photos don't show how far the house is from the water, so we were a little nervous about it, but our group LOVED the big yard and didn't find it hard to walk down to the boathouse. The amenities really sold it: good floaties, boats, hot tub, TV etc. and the river was gorgeous. Neighbors were quiet and it wasn't too far from Shenandoah for hiking. Owners were very fast at responding and there were no problems at check in or check out. Would stay here again!

Girl’s Trip

What an amazing property! So much to do right there. We rafted and enjoyed the river and the hot tub. They had everything we needed to have a fun and comfy stay. Hosts were very accessible . We did drive in to Edinburg and took a bike tour with Burgess E-bikes. It was so much fun! 10/10 Would love to come back!

Girls cabin trip

We absolutely loved our 1 night stay at this beautiful cabin. The house and property are gorgeous. Everything was very clean. The linens were SO soft! The house had everything we needed for our stay. The hot tub was AMAZING and in the perfect location. I will say, the listing does make the house appear as though it is ON the water from the way the pictures look, but it’s actually quite a distance from it. No big deal. You still get great water views. Another small issue was lots of stink bugs in the house. Luckily we weren’t the type of group that was too bothered by it but some may not be a fan. The WiFi also didn’t work for us until the day of checkout so we were unable to call somewhere and order food which was our plan. Guess we should have been better prepared for that. Other than those small things, it was the perfect getaway and we loved it and definitely want to come back in the summer so we can use the canoes and tubes!

This cabin was simply perfect! Super clean and very well stocked with anything you could possibly need. We enjoyed the hot tub after hiking and loved the screened river house and deck. Just a fantastic place to unwind with our family! The owners were wonderful and super responsive. Just book it… you won’t be sorry!

About the host

Hosted by Allen & Zunera

Host profile image
We are your hosts, Allen and Zunera, and this is our dream cabin in the stunning Shenandoah Valley. Our family has a great love of the outdoors and we spend a lot of time hiking, camping, fishing and canoeing the Blue Ridge mountains to get away from our busy lives as parents and executives in the city. Our love of this region and its people led us to buy this place and fully remodel it so we can escape to nature while still having the luxuries and amenities of home… and we love every minute we spend in this place.

We decided to share this space with others who want to experience the beauty and majesty of the Blue Ridge mountains as much as we do and hope that your stay is magical and filled with memories you will cherish for the rest of your life.

If you need anything, we are only a phone call away and we want to make sure that your stay is comfortable and memorable. So book with us and spend a few days relaxing by the river, around the fire, or watching the Milky Way in its full majesty above.

We hope you love this place as much as we do.
