THE NEIGHBORHOOD
This part of the Old North is mostly frequented by locals, young people and families. There are many quiet streets organized around the busy Yehuda Maccabi street. Head there for shopping and to discover one of the many eateries of the area.
The Park Hayarkon is a short walk away. The port of Tel Aviv (Namal) about 15 minutes more once you reach the entrance to the park.
The neighborhood is also close to the highway which is very convenient for those planing to visit the country by car (less time in traffic to get out of Tel Aviv).
GETTING AROUND
You can do everything on foot or rent a city bicycle from a nearby station. There are countless buses running from Yehuda Maccabi street and Namir road which will take you about anywhere in Tel Aviv and around. If you plan on using buses or trains, you'll need to purchase a RavKav card (available at the airport or in the train stations) and load some money on it using the RavKav app on your phone.
Lastly we recommend using the app Gett to order taxis when needed.
