The space
We're on about 11.5 acres and live and work primarily on this property. The tiny house is situated behind our home and barn, within sight distance, but not close. The property has woods on either side and is mostly grassy with some exposed clay. We're surrounded by hay fields and hunting land, so it's pretty quiet out here!

We provide outdoor seating and a 2-person hammock for you to enjoy. There is also at least 1 propane grill available and ready for use.

The woods have been cleared of underbrush and are pleasant to walk in. We've put in a small duck pond and fire ring, stocked with some wood and started, upon request.

Cellular signal is spotty to poor, but free wifi is available once on the property.

We have a few chickens and a rooster that live in the barn. We haven't had any negative feedback about the rooster waking up guests, but if you think it might be a problem, please plan accordingly.

We have a very small RV campground (7 spaces, of which the tiny home is one). So when you book, you may very well have neighbors. The spaces are 25' wide and the tiny home is in the center of the space.

Guest access
The tiny home faces a wood. Guests are free to walk throughout the wood as far as the creek and around the grassy area near the tiny home. The pasture in front of the barn is also fine.

Guests are not to enter the fenced backyard, the gray shop building, or the pavilion in the back of the property.

Cool Little Tiny Home

Cool little home. Very quiet area. The host has plates, pots and pans, and little odd and end items to make sure you have everything for your stay. Will definitely stay here again if I’m ever in the area.

Adorable and well stocked!

We absolutely loved this place! We had a few minor issues but they were easily fixed and the owner was very communicative. Wifi was a little iffy but it is in a secluded area. My partner and I really enjoyed this place and it was very well stocked for being a tiny home. If you are in the Pell City area I highly recommend!

Cute and cozy

We had a great stay in the tiny home. We stayed for a night to break up a long travel day and it was perfect for that, would also be great for a longer stay in Alabama. The tiny home is so cute with rustic charm. We had a miscommunication of when our stay started and even with the mishap, we were well taken care of. Sweet and reputable owners. Great option for a couple looking for a cheap and relaxing getaway

Tiny home

Tiny home sits in a back pasture area among RV sites. No one else was there during our stay so it was very peaceful. There’s a nice wooded area with a firepit and picnic table. The home was very neat, clean, and well appointed. We enjoyed our stay.

Amazing getaway!

Super cozy, gorgeous tiny house! Had everything we needed. Hosts were very responsive and thoughtful. The comforter wasn’t the cleanest and we didn’t realize there were going to be other RVs right next to us, but overall had a perfect trip

About the host

Host profile image
We're originally from California (Russ) and Georgia (Joni). We bought this land in 2021 and have been improving it bit by bit since then. Russ is a carpenter, and I am a stay-at-home mom / realtor. We bought this place because it gave us room to spread out and consolidate all aspects of our life on one piece of property. We enjoy all aspects of hosting our camper guests, as well as tiny home guests. Just let us know if you need anything!

What makes this property unique

My husband is a carpenter and built this tiny home for himself, originally. He intended to take it to some family land out in Wyoming, but then we got married and had 2 lovely kiddos. So the tiny home went up for sale for a few months. We didn't find a buyer right away, so it became a rental when we completed the RV hookups. He might have overbuilt for the market around here!

It's very well insulated, so it stays comfortable in the heat and cold. We hope you enjoy the glorious woodwork!
