Modern chique accommodations in a beautiful country setting. Becky was one of the most friendly, accomodating, and responsive hosts we have ever rented from. The house was well stocked and had everything we needed for our family gathering. We look forward to a return visit!
gathering, with special touches throughout.
Great location very peaceful, beautiful home lots of space, awesome outdoor patio area. We will definitely stay here again if available next time we travel to Hattiesburg.
This house was very welcoming for the guest it had everything needed for a weekend stay. The stay was nice and clean, towels was clean and all the room where neatly put together and living area was spacious. Only thing I would recommend is having some Terro spider and fly spray.
My family stayed at this beautiful home for a weekend while visiting the area for a dance competition. We could have stayed at a local hotel but we would have never been as comfortable and happy as we were staying at this property.
The pictures are accurate but don’t do this place justice.
1st we were so surprised to pull up to a literal farm next door and my kids very much enjoyed seeing the cows and goats.
Second, the beauty of the property is so wonderful and relaxing. Beautiful pine trees surround the home and there are wonderful porches for sipping early morning coffee.
The house is extremely spacious and there is plenty of room to spread out and cozy enough to feel like home.
We had no issues except we arrived late at night and had a problem with the door code. We panicked but VRBO responded quickly and got us in within minutes of calling.
The host was responsive every time we reached out and was kind enough to leave treats and give food suggestions.
The house is clean and tidy but that may not be enough for some. This is a lived in home so expecting a spotless or sterile environment is unrealistic. There will be some personal belongings here and there but the host did lock some closets etc, to keep that at a minimum.
Overall we loved our experience at this lovely home!
I’m going to start my review with the positives, the property is next to a farm with scenic views of sheep, cows and horses. The house was tastefully decorated. The hosts let us check in early at no extra charge, which was very considerate. However, the property was not clean. There was hair in both showers and the floors were filthy. Every surface was sticky. The host obviously lives on the property full time because the fridge and freezer were full of food. There were clothes in closets and drawers of the rooms. Just not what you expect from a rental. Lastly as described we thought the property was a stand alone home, but it isn’t. The garage connects to an apartment with a shared garage. Overall, we had a birthday party and the children had fun. But I was pretty embarrassed that my family from out of town, who came as our guests had to stay here because they had to clean before they felt comfortable spending time overnight. I recommend hiring a professional cleaning service. And sanitizing the home of personal items. No one wants to see your underwear on their vacation.
Property is beautifully decorated and spacious rooms to accommodate family. Gracious country living, large kitchen loaded with all you need to cook a family meal. Cozy, relaxing areas indoors and out to enjoy making memories in any weather. Luxurious master suite, best shower and bed ever to have a restful and relaxing pampered getaway. Very responsive and generous hosts. Excellent vacation!
