We really enjoyed our time at this cabin, it was very cozy and had a beautiful view of paradise lake. It was also close and convenient to go to Mackinac city and sturgeon bay. Would definitely stay here again.
We stayed just one night on our motorcycle trip up the coast of Lake MI. The location is beautiful and we loved the cabin. Even the artwork is cool! It had everything we needed and we're definitely planning to come back again!
Took the family up north to explore the nearby forests with the autumn colors on full display.... Great location right on the lake, restaurants closeby in Mackinac City, and short drive to Wilderness Park and the Tunnel of Trees. WiFi was recently installed which was great but cell service also very good in the area. We will be back!
Lovely. We did miss patio furniture or any seating accommodations for outside but all in all it was Avery lovely stay. Honestly. With the lake in the back yard it is an oasis. Plus you are minutes awsy from as ll the touristy points of interests. We would love to spend a week there in late summer.
My son and I absolutely loved everthing about the cabin and the lake. The area is quiet and peaceful. I cannot say enough good things about our experience.
Setting & cottage = peaceful and comfortable; hosts = considerate
We enjoyed a peaceful lake setting with sights and sounds of wildlife. (A chipmunk scrambled up into my lap!) We could tell the hosts genuinely try to anticipate their guests’ needs—kayaks, comfortable outdoor furniture, cozy beds, the basic amenities. We’re coming back!
This place is adorable. My girls (age 4 and 7) loved it, it was kid-friendly, cozy, and in a cute area. The helpful suggestions about places to visit were awesome. My 4 y/o said "Best. Day. Ever." Wish we could have stayed longer, would love to go again!
Nice small cabin that overlooks the lake in a quiet area. We had fun using the kayaks/row boat on Paradise Lake. Short drive to Mackinaw City for various fun activities! Thankyou Gary!
The contemporary feel is nice and all but the furniture was not comfortable at all. Which resulted in spending very little time in the living room area. Definitely would recommend getting some recliners or something. Other than that the cabin would have gotten 5 stars
The outdoor patio space overlooking the lake was fantastic. The furnishings were so cozy and comfortable. Loved the record player and board games. It felt nice to unplug and spend quality time together. Thanks again. We hope to make our way back soon.
The stay on Carp Lake was a pleasant stay. The location is great for visiting Mackinaw City and Mackinac Island. It is just a short 10 minute drive. The kitchen was great. The beds, bedding, and pillow were comfortable. The view from the living room and porch is incredible. The only thing I would change would be to make the address pop out a little more. We found the cabin based on the picture on VRBO. It wasn't until we were leaving on the last day that I saw the address on a post.
If you are there for outdoor activities, property is great. Nice screened in porch. Nice deck on the lake. Unfortunately, weather kept us indoors more than we had planned. No tv unless you bring your own hotspot. Living room furniture not so comfy. Cabin could sleep 6 people easily, but bathroom is not equipped for 6. Area is very convenient to Mac City.
