Beautiful house with issues
Beautiful, spacious home with pool, Pickelball, ping pong. Lovely back yard. Comfy beds (pillows not so much) and furniture. Great location. The two fireplaces were decorative only (wish I had known that) Unfortunately two issues negatively impacted our trip. Most of the lighting was out when we arrived. Electrician came and fixed it. Next morning the security system started to Beep, another electrician had to come out. The house was quite cold and we discovered the heating system power was out. One more serviceman. The kitchen was not cleaned well. We found a greasy plate in the microwave, stovetop had food on it, and there were a number of greasy pans in the cupboards. Also, the non-stick coated surfaces of the pots and pans were scratched and chipping, should be replaced.Hosts were responsive but it took a few hours to get each issue fixed. Last, there are a number of area rugs, particularly in the living room, that do not have skid padding underneath, and several of us slid and almost fell. Easy fix, please do it. A few easy fixes will earn this special house a 5 star rating.
