Wonderful stay!

The house was perfect for what we needed. Lots to do in the area! We visited Babcock State Park, New River Gorge and did the mining tour in Beckley. There is some road noise, but the fan provided made it so we never heard it while sleeping. We would definitely stay here again!

Charming rural cottage

Perfect getaway for a single or couple. Charming cottage. Very clean. Great water pressure and quickly hot. Great retreat location for a long weekend. Would certainly stay here again!

Clean & Comfortable

We enjoyed our stay at The Grove. The location was an easy drive to the river activites, quiet, and safe. The property manager was very responsive to our questions. We will be staying here again, and we've recommended The Grove to others who travel through often.

Perfect little home for a quick getaway

Traveled 3 hours for a wedding in Oak Hill and this house was a perfect place to stay overnight. Best part was the shower head and water pressure. I wish my shower at home had that type of pressure! If we ever travel down here again, would definitely rebook Blue Grove

Good Value near New River Gorge

Cozy place near New River Gorge National Park. Everything you need is provided and very good communication with owner. Very close to lots of activities and restaurants. It is on the highway, so you will hear traffic, but the box fan provided in the bedroom created white noise to drown it out. Overall, excellent value for the area.

Nice stay!

We had a nice stay here . It was about a 25 minute drive to the New River Gorge . The pictures listed for the property were accurate . K-cups, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap & dish soap were provided, along with other basics. The property was very clean . There was a lot of traffic noise that didn’t bother us but might bother some. . It worked for what we needed it for and would recommend. The host was very responsive.

Charming Blue House

The house was well kept and clean and easy to find. Contact with the owner was easy through the VRBO app. We were chasing waterfalls on the West Virgina Waterfalls Trail, so we didn't spend much time at the house. The only downfall was the proximity to the road. We thought at night it would be quiet, but there were apparently coal trucks running at all hours of the night, so it made it a little hard to sleep.

small, older, guest house in country

I cannot say enough about the host, like I stated in the title this cottage was an older building and unfortunate for us the air conditioner broke on our 3rd day. It was a heat wave and we had one awfully warm night. We would have opened the windows but most were sealed shut with no screens to keep out the bugs. Everything said our host responded quickly and in the morning we were in another one of his vacation homes which was newer and cool !!! Thanks to him we had a lovely rest of our vacation.
