It feels like you are staying in the treetops here at Whispering Pines @ Buena Vista Bluffs in Mentone. We are located on the Brow of Lookout Mountain, just past Brow Park in a very secluded area. Make yourself a cup of tea and unwind on our screened-in porch while enjoying the tranquil sounds of nature. If you are feeling adventurous, you can even sleep outside in the bunkbed on the porch! There are three units at this property if you need even more room to spread out!
The space
Whispering Pines is the top floor unit on the ground level. It is one of three units @ Buena Vista Bluffs. This is a spacious one bedroom, one bath apartment with a full kitchen, separate living room and a large screened in deck. There are 2 comfy queen beds as well a twin bunk bed. The ramp is wheelchair accessable. There are no stairs to climb at this unit.
Guest access
You will have full access to the entire top unit. The only shared space is the parking area and the guests share a grill.

We are entrepreneurs who are always looking for our next project. We met & married in Auburn, AL, where we lived until 2013. We now call Fort Payne home!
- Bryan has a master’s degree in education and spent 10 years of his career teaching high school and junior college students. He played football in high school & college. He loves public speaking, golf, watching documentaries, leading & challenging men, playing guitar & Dr. Pepper. He's "the world's best dad" our 5 kids say! He is also currently the youth pastor at First Methodist Church in Fort Payne.
- Claire has a bachelor’s degree in Building Science & has spent the better part of the last 12 years growing their family of 7. She moved to NYC at age 18 to study architecture. She loves traveling & going on adventures with the kids! She's an organizer, a huge fan of Dr. Pimple Popper, thrift stores, singing/songwriting, coffee, big salads & creatively making money. We love what we do with hosting.
