Beach House with Expansive Deck and Great Views

Escape to this meticulously curated coastal home that features bright splashes of color, flowing indoor and outdoor living spaces, contrasting motifs, herringbone tile work, boutique furnishings, and a covered BBQ patio to make a delicious meal underneath the house.

Please note: the third bedroom downstairs is not directly accessible from the main house.

Terramar is a fantastic beach community with pool, dock, plenty of room for volleyball courts, outdoor games, and much more. The property is located just a short drive away from downtown Galveston, Schlitterbahn, and Moody Gardens.

You can walk to the beach from the house, but we recommend K6 golf cart rentals if you're looking to ride!

Bed bugs!

Horrible. Bed bugs in the master bedroom, tv in the living room is half broken, bottom room smells of mold.

Basking in the sunshine

The property is as advertised. Great location and the host was very prompt in responding to our inquiries. The house is clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies. Some minor complaints: squeaky, uncomfortable bunk beds, flush handle on the toilet needs to be replaced, and the third bedroom downstairs smelt very bad. But everything else was in pristine condition.

Complete Invasion of Privacy

This had the potential to be a great place to stay after a family beach day but turned out to be the exact opposite. Originally, my husband and I planned to stay here with some friends who have two little ones. We were planning to be at the beach all day and simply needed somewhere to store our food and spend the night. I notified the host ahead of time, there would be 3 cars overnight but that other cars would come and go for food since we were meeting more people out there. After our day at the beach, some of my family stopped by the house for burgers before heading home (~6 pm). Then, before we could even finish a burger, a security truck pulled up and pulled me and my husband away from our dinner to "investigate us". He was extremely rude and said that he was here on behalf of the host because I had "lied to them" by having a party with 7 cars at the house. I calmly and respectfully explained that there would only be 3 cars staying but that my family was there eating before heading home. He kept me out there for half an hour (&stayed watching the house) telling me that I wasn't "arguing too much" so he would let the hosts know that I wasn't "belligerent!" Meanwhile, the hosts had not contacted me ONCE to ask for clarification or to say there was an issue. I felt completely violated, especially since my husband and I are hosts and would never treat our guests this way. Our friends were too uncomfortable to stay and everyone drove back home.

Not worth it

I rented this beach house, so it states 3 bedrooms. The 3rd bedroom is a converted storage room on the outside on the of the house. You have to go outside and upstairs to go to the bathroom. It smelled like moth balls and mold. In the kitchen, there was roaches everywhere. Apparently thats been a common issue with this rental. Communication was not the greatest time wise, we were needing to know in advance if the property had power die to the hurricane. I was told i would be notified before we glt there if the power was working.

Cute house

House was cute, my family and I enjoyed our stay here. Great communication with the property manager, they were quick to respond when I emailed them during the check in process. The house could use a few updates and housekeeping could do a little better but overall, we had a great stay.

Nice for a weekend get-a-way.

The place was really nice and relaxing. There was a tiny sliver view of the ocean. The manager was very quick to respond. My family had a great time during our extended weekend visit. There was a couple things that wasn't up to par. We saw a couple roaches in the kitchen so the place definitely needs an exterminator. Most of the furniture wasn't very comfortable and the beds in the kids room squeaked so bad everytime one of them moved. They did offer Sling on the two tvs which is a nice bonus. So overall, the stay was good, I just wish there wasn't the roach problem.

Needs a good pause and roach bombing

We saw numerous roaches in bedroom, crawling on bed and up on people, crawling on Kitchen bar stools and in bathroom. It was quite disturbing and nasty to have them crawling on people while they were in bed.

Good experience

Small group took an excursion to the beach and stayed here. Everything was just as it was advertised. Check in process was easy, and the host was communicative and helpful. We had a lovely time and enjoyed the deck! We would return and use this host again. Thank you!
