This beautiful and refined apartment to rent in Rome is composed by a spacious living-dining room lit up by several windows on both sides, tastefully furnished with a dining table with seats for 8 people and a sofa; a second living area with a comfortable double sofa bed, 2 armchairs and TV SAT. Close to the entrance is the modern kitchen , fully equipped with everything you need to make a delicious Italian dinner: fridge and freezer, stove and oven, dishwasher, washing machine, pots and crockery. A beautiful aisle with windows overlooking the inner courtyard leads to the night area of Ripetta House: a master bedroom with a walk-in closet and a large en-suite bathroom characterized by an isolated bath-tub and double wash-basins; and a second bedroom with twin beds or double bed, walk-in closet and a small modern bathroom with shower. You will surely love the white wooden ceiling in the living room and the impressive number of windows.

The AC is only in the living room, but this works for the entire apartment.

Lovely large flat well located in Rome

We had a wonderful Christmas staying at this well located and very nice flat. The very kind owners helped us with transportation from the airport and let us to show us around the apartment. It was clean and the perfect size for our family and a quick 15 minute walk to most locations in the city we needed to see.

Beautiful property in excellent location

The apartment was very nice and the hosts were extremely helpful. The internet was not working while we were there and the host was only able to make it partially functional during our stay despite best efforts, otherwise I would rate a 5

When in Rome!

We arrived at the property later than planned due to some travel delays. However were greeted with kindness and care. The property was reviewed closely with staff and guests and then we started exploring. The property is in a perfect location (we walked everywhere) and perfect size for 4 adults. We would come back to Rome in a heartbeat to this property! Thank you again for a perfect spot to explore the beautiful city!!

Excellent Location But Apartment Was Very Old

I wanted to love this place, honestly! We waited on the street for 15 minutes because when we arrived as arranged we were not given any instructions on how to gain access to the building or get keys. Finally the unit owner opened the front door to see where we were and he found us. The rental company handling all this had terrible communications. The place is like something from the 50’s but it definitely was clean and located in a terrific neighborhood with restaurants and the Plaza de Populo only about 4 blocks away. If you want to experience the flavor of truly authentic Italian family living in the 50’s and 60’s Including a kitchen out of a time capsule, this rental is for you! The wonderful pros are the location with several small workshops/designer boutiques and the radiator heat on a couple cold clammy nights in October was so comforting!

It is a dream apartment!

This apartment is in an absolutely wonderful location very near the Piazza Popolo. There are restaurants, shops, and of course, beautiful churches. The apartment is in a historic neighborhood built in the 1880s. It does have air conditioning in the main living area, but there is a big ceiling fan in one bedroom and a table fan in another. The pull out sofa is in the same area as the AC. Plus the ceilings are high and it is an airy apartment. We were there when every day was 95 degrees or higher and we were very comfortable. There is an elevator, but you do need to be able to go up about 10 steps to access it. It was only another 15 steps to the apartment so we didn’t use it. The owner is absolutely charming and the management company was very responsive. They also arranged our transportation from our port to Rome and then to the airport after our stay. The rates were very reasonable. I highly recommend this apartment.

Great location in a beautiful old city building

We loved our stay in this beautiful old fashioned apartment. The location was great, easy access to public transport for farther excursions, and an easy walk to Vatican or central Rome. We had a heat wave while we were there, and the air conditioning was a life saver. Loved the quirky layout of the apartment, and the master bath is one of a kind. The kitchen is functional, but rather small. Was not a problem, since we never cooked, just had breakfast there, but if you want to cook, it is kind of limited space wise. The double bed in the master, and two single beds in the second bedroom were ideal for us traveling with two teens. Our host and the doorman were very helpful and friendly if we needed tips or information. I can recommend this apartment, I would go there again, if I make it back to Rome.

Beautiful home in Rome

If you like older properties (we do!) this charming apartment is in a bustling section of Rome. Easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, and historical places. The home is very comfortable and had all we needed for our group for three days. Emanuel’s was welcoming and knew so much about the area. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to all who don’t mind a flight of stairs

Roaming in Roma

This property is in a fabulous location! The listing is spot on! Communications with owner were excellent, updates all along the way, the meeting with and checking in was beyond wonderful!! It is an older building but provided all we needed and we felt very safe! We walked to Trevi every evening and had gelato, the grocery was just around the corner so we were able to shop and have food at the apartment. Dishes, stove, dishwasher, etc…we can not say enough good about these folks and their space! We are already thinking about our next trip and how we can bring other adult children for an adventure in Rome! We will stay here again! Thank you so much, it was such a blessing to use your space!! Loved Luca and the whole check in process but the property needs some maintenance. Obvious old mold in the ceiling, WiFi was scratchy at best, many lamps had old bulbs that did not work.

Great location and host

Host was amazing and helpful The location allows you to walk to Vatican and to collesuem, shopping, Spanish steps, Trevi, etc The longest walk was to the coloseum which was a roughly 20 minute walk (There are taxis, public transport options as well) The place itself has great space and ideal for a family The only negative is the AC isn’t phenomenal by usa standards but even in very hot August it would cool off enough at night Still 5 stars and nice and quiet at night

Quant - but!

It was a frustrating process as I booked with the advertised agent only to deal with two others in the chain before I spoke to the owner. My deposit was snapped up somewhere along the line without even a receipt! A few shortcomings with the unit, there were no cleaning clothes, any there now are what we bought, a degree in locksmithing would help getting in. The bedrooms have no natural light & limited other lighting, likewise for the rest of the unit. Lacking cooking utensils. Power cuts out if several appliances are on at the same time. Quant - but consider looking elsewhere.

Not the place to stay during warm temperatures

The apartment is very large, but not in the greatest condition. Their is one small air conditioning unit for the whole apartment and it’s a good distance from the bedrooms. We happened to be there during a heat wave and it simply could not keep up with the temperatures outside. It didn’t help that the air conditioning unit was inside and put off more heat than the unit gave out cool air. (Conversely, our apartment in Florence had 4 units and kept everyone cool.) The larger bathroom needs some repair and the bathtub/shower is quite dangerous stepping in and out of it with wet feet. The property owner is very nice and accommodating. The location is good but after visiting there, I wish we had stayed closer to Trastevere or Testaccio.

Lovely apartment in an awesome location. This feels off the beaten path and yet is a hop-skip-and-jump from a multitude of restaurants, grocery, shops, and an easy walk from all the major sights. Quiet at night and the internet is fast (my husband worked remotely for several days of our stay and used Microsoft teams for hours a day). FYI, the VRBO listing of the price was incorrect. The price ended up being much higher (by about 60%) than we were anticipating. In fairness, the email confirmation that was sent after we booked had the correct price in it (which we did not read but simply filed away), but was not reflective of what the price was when we clicked “book”. The owner was very gracious letting us store our suitcases in their downstairs apartment. I could imagine his grandmother floating around that apartment in the 1920s. As a historic home enthusiast, that piece was awesome, too.

What an adventure. Our host, Luca, welcome us to his family’s apartment with smiles! The apartment’s history permeated throughout and put us in the mood to explore, learn and enjoy! Situated near the river, we were in walking distance to many attractions and to the restaurants recommended to us by our host. Beautiful and educational time😎

Great location - big apartment

The apartment was huge and well locatedZ the host was helpful and kind. My only (minor) complaint is that the bedrooms do not have windows so they can get hot despite fans. Still I would stay again if I find myself in Rome again :)

Excellente localisation

Tres beau sejour a Rome. L’appartement est tres grand ce qui est parfait pour un voyage en famille. Les lits et la literie sont tres confortables. L’appartement est propre mais mériterait d être repeint. Ceci étant dit, cet endroit est tres confortable. Sa localisation est vraiment parfaite. Le propriétaire est tres accueillant et nous a donne pleins de conseils. En famille, j’y retournerais sans hésiter

Un peu loin du centre , magasins alimentation à 10 minutes. Propreté douteuse, lits confortables, cuisine absolument rien pas huile olive, vinaigre, peu de serviettes de cuisine, il a fallu tout acheter pour 3 jours. À bien d'autres appartements le proprio avait laisser, jus orange , pain , jambon , vin etc…il est parfois difficile en arrivant de pouvoir bien fonctionner. Je ne relouerais plus cet appartement. Roman Apartment Getaway

We loved this property. It has authentic, rustic, charm and a great location which was exactly what I was hoping for.. My husband and I stayed here with our 4 adult children/ goddaughter (ages 19 - 23). There was plenty of space for all 6 of us to sleep and a sitting area, dining area and kitchen. We felt very safe and although near the street, was tucked away inside and was very quiet. We didn't spend much time here though since we were out exploring. Luca, the owner, greeted us late in the evening and was so gracious. The apartment has TV, Wifi, Air Conditioning, plenty of hot water, etc. He gave us pages of instructions for near by markets, transportation, restaurants, etc. He also lived in the building which was helpful to know in case we had any trouble..........which we didn't. We arrived to Rome on my birthday and were starving after the long travel day. Luca recommended that we walk down the street to PizzaRe, and even at that late hour were able to enjoy our first amazing Italian meal! We went there a few times! The communication with the property management company From Home to Rome was great. They helped us to arrange transport to and from the airport which was so helpful. We are home now and I am still basking in the glow of our holiday in Rome. Thank you!!
