Great stay for our large family

Our large group of children and adults found this home fit all our needs. There was plenty of room for all of us. The bunk room was perfect for the kids. The property was great with the pool, garden, play area and patios. We had enough room to play bocce ball and corn hole. The pool, not as warm as I would want, but the kids loved it anyhow and this was the highlight of the weekend. The host was quick to answer any questions we had. We would love to stay here again.

Amazing location in a beautiful setting. Communicate in advance

We called this The Farm and it really was a beautiful setting for our group of adventurers. We use this as our place to eat, sleep and relax in between adventures including hikes and whitewater rafting. The property is big and gorgeous! Big an open with wood floors on the bottom level and carpet upstairs. The kitchen is perfect for a group with a big dining table and kitchen island. We had big yummy meals. The outside deck is nice. They have two. Lots of room for vehicles, however we just had one big rental van. Be warned though, be sure you know exactly what you are getting. The main bedrooms are nice and beds are comfy and as advertised. The thrid bedroom in the main house is advertised as having 5 beds. This room has 3 beds with 2 matresses under two of the other beds. One is a trundle and the other is just slid under the bed. There is no extra room in this bed room to sleep on these beds, so they had to be relocated elsewhere to sleep on the floor. I can understand when it's couples and kids, but we were all adult singles with one person for every bed, so we needed them all. Pool heating - The house is advertised as being able to be heated for an additional fee. I requested to have the pool heated with plenty of notice. The owner or manager let me know that they will "open the pool for the season" a few days before our arrival and "if all goes well, they can heat it". We booked this house in March and chose the house since it had a HEATED pool. Max review length..

About the host

As a native Oregonian, I am thrilled to share this little slice of heaven called Orchardview Estate. I understand the need for a break in routine and my home is a private and inviting place to relax and rejuvenate for a long weekend or short-term stay.

Why they chose this property

I value privacy and tranquility. This beautiful property has plenty of places to gather and enjoy friends and family, all in a secluded and private setting surrounded by hazelnut orchards. Oregon summers offer opportunity to experience the joy nature brings. Fall brings fruit harvests and hazelnuts from our private orchard, which we are happy to share with guests.

What makes this property unique

Privacy, open space, gardening, outdoor yoga, birds, sunsets, stars, fresh air, summer breeze, cozy fires, puzzles, books, outdoor movies. Here you are within a few short miles of Oregon's best wineries.

(Note: This is a country property. There may be an occasional encounter with country creatures such as bunnies, quail, squirrels, mice, deer, and coyote.)
