Location is this home is great. Walking distance to restaurants, shops, and waterfront. House is clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. Will stay here again!
We had a lovely stay at this property. The location was wonderful. We were able to walk around town, walk to restaurants, and also walk to some shops! The house has a vintage charm to it. Easy to access and the house was well equipped with linens and such! Would happily stay there again!
We stayed for a long weekend / wedding at the boat museum and had a great stay. The house was in an awesome location - a few blocks from great coffee, a good bagel shop, and tons of restaurants. It’s also a block away from a really cute pirate ship mini playground near the water that our toddler loved and the library, which had a great kids room. The house had plenty of space for us (couple, toddler and grandma) and it was clean and well decorated and the kitchen had everything you could need (including coffee, tea, etc.). We enjoyed our stay and would stay again!
Great location and great house. We were in Bristol for a wedding and this house was perfect for my family. Very clean, roomy, and private. Decorated nicely in a nautical theme. Also includes a well equipped kitchen. Additionally, Chandra was extremely responsive to all of our questions. We would definitely stay here again.
We booked this VRBO based on proximity to our daughter's university for grad weekend. Great location. 5-minute drive to campus and one minute walk to the waterfront with restaurants/shops to walk to and a beautiful scenic walking path along the water. Enjoyed our stay with family in this very comfy and nautical home perfect with a small yard to sit and enjoy the sunset. We ate all meals out, but there is a nice kitchen and large farm table to eat at and enjoy. We love the town of Bristol and will be back! This carriage house is absolutely beautiful.
Charming small house set back from road in Bristol, steps from waterfront and shops and restaurants. Older house with some quirky aspects of plumbing, electrical, and A/C that the owner was very prompt in helping us to regulate. Rooms are small but cozy, very suitable for a couple. Newer bathroom is on first floor, older bathroom on second floor along with three small bedrooms. Well appointed kitchen. Laundry in unfinished basement.
Hospitality of owner was warm and generous, a real pleasure!
The house was extremely charming and a perfect mix of character but still extremely comfortable. Internet was fast, premises were spotless, and location was perfect. Beds were clean and comfy, and I appreciated the heavy curtains that kept any light out at night.
Super quick walk to pretty much anything in Bristol and was right by the water. The home was easy to find, and the host even provided toothbrush kits, etc. for anything one might forget. Plenty of extra linens, and the digital lock was very easy to use and made getting in and out easy and quick.
AC worked great as well.
Cannot recommend highly enough! I was a solo traveler but the property would be great for groups. Blessedly, easy checkout instructions that were not onerous and only took a few minutes max.
Worth noting the host was very communicative and helpful as well!

About the host

Welcome to Bristol Harbor House. As a native New Englander I've always loved RI and being close to the water. We bought BHH in 2021 and in 2022 undertook a full renovation of the home (save for the kitchen and main floor bath which are on the list). We love the charm of Bristol, the shops, restaurants and outdoor activities all at our doorstep. We can't wait to share it with you.
Why they chose this property
We love being steps away from the harbor and all that Bristol has to offer.
