The Hood… For Real!!!

The property is in The Hood! A loud, heavily trafficked neighborhood. There was a wrecker and wrecked car on it parked directly in front of the walkway of the property front entrance. The Owner tells you to use the side door, but fails to mention why. The cozy as listed has nothing to do with the poorly maintained yard in front and back, and the interior is surface clean with plenty of plug in air fresheners to mask an underlying need for a deep clean. My team felt unsafe though there are cameras due to the surroundings itself. I would not stay again or recommend this listing.

AWFUL

Property owner notified me less than 24 hours prior to check in of cancellation due to “property damage”. Was notified after 9pm and was due to travel at 7am the next morning. Very vague details! Will never book with this host again! Left me in a panic and had to book hotel rooms and pay 3x rates due to their last minute issue! No help was given or advice for other booking! Just a my bad attitude!

We were to check in at 4pm. Received a call at 4pm that property was unusable. Moved to this property which now placed 6 adults in a house with one bathroom. Got to site and went inside and air freshners were overbearing. Security system would go off and no understanding of how to use/turn off. 2 different smoke detectors were going off all weekend. Only enough dinnerware for 4 people and silverware was plastic wear. At least one dresser had bugs in it. Check oit process not sent until after 10-11pm the night before and we were checking out by 6am which meant we were unaware of what needed to be done until we woke up.
