No tents or canopies allowed on beach.

Guests receive a welcome kit with small dishwasher detergent, dish soap, sponge, a roll of paper towels, and laundry detergent. There will be an initial trash liner in each receptacle and a set of toilet paper and soaps for each bathroom provided. Guests will need to replenish supplies for longer stays.

Right on the beach

Location was exactly what I wanted. Condo and building was exactly as pictured on VRBO site. Property mgr was responsive if I reached out. Unit was ready before check-in time. Condo was also decent size. Only cons were you do have to drive to go to eat or do anything; we rented a car, so wasn’t a problem for us), and the floor was a bit dirty when walking around barefoot. The building is a bit outdated, but again, it’s what I expected based on pics and description. For the quality of building, I wish it had cost a bit less… but location was fantastic. Fitness room was a lot smaller than expected. And check-in and check-out process was super simple.

Needs a deep cleaning - otherwise Perfect!

Great condo, great view, great location. As others have recently stated this condo needs a deep cleaning - particularly the floors. We didn’t complain while there because a deep cleaning of tile flooring takes some time and we didn’t want that disruption during our stay. Otherwise the condo was nicely appointed, equipped, etc and we very much enjoyed it, the beach, and the convenient location. The property itself could use a facelift in the common hallways but not a big deal as the condo itself (save for needed a deep clean) was very nice.

Jade East seems to be an older property and guests should expect aging and wear. This is not a luxury property and if I were following hotel ratings, this one would be 2 stars. The kitchen was stocked sufficiently, the furnishings look fine although the rug does look dirty, as another reviewer mentioned. The property manager was excellent, the guys that manage the chairs were great and it was nice chairs were included. The beach is lovely and it was nice to have a view. The balcony is small and the chairs on the balcony are starting to wear.

Very displeased. Online description didn’t meet true shape of the rental. Far below excellent. Entire rental In dire need of renovation. None of the doors to exterior properly sealed you could hear and feel air going through bedroom door. Only updated decent room was master bath. Flooring grout throughout needed deep cleaning. Laundry room brooms and mops were filthy. Reached for a towel under sink in master bathroom and lots of water damage and debris. Rug in living room was filthy dirty. Couch was dirty with someone’s hair all over it. Dryer didn’t dry. When trying to use garbage shoot to dispose of trash the opening to shoot was locked and trash was piled up. Very dissatisfied.

As advertised - EXCELLENT!

Great location within the Destin area; close to several family friendly venues. Very, very, very convenient to get down to the beach. Trash cute was cool and they had carts to help with getting everything to/from the room. It’s the little things that matter when you’ve got two little ones under 5. We would definitely stay here again!

Gorgeous condo!

This condo is absolutely gorgeous. Very elegant! The view is amazing. Our only disappointment was that the pool was closed at 4:00 p.m. when we first got there and the condo building was overrun by students! After they got that situation taken care of it was fine. We ended up cutting our stay short because of the corona virus situation worldwide and we just wanted to be home. Newman-Dailey graciously refunded the remaining amount without us even asking! We would definitely stay again!

Lovely Condo with a View

This property is perfect for a short or extended getaway. It's spacious, the beds are comfortable and the furnishings are nice. We had everything we needed to cook a little breakfast or dinner in the kitchen. The standard sized washer and dryer and utility room were a plus for a family. The view is stunning and serene from the 5th floor, the pool is nice, and it's only a few steps from the pool to the beach. We liked that this unit's parking space was close to the front of the building. We will definitely be booking this property again!

Incredible Stay!

My husband and I decided on a last minute get away. We had never heard of Destin, but everything about it looked beautiful. I searched endlessly for a place to stay, but this was by far the nicest unit I came across and it surely didn't disappoint. The place was clean and had a nicely stocked kitchen with everything we needed. We didn't make big dinners, but had breakfast and lunch there every day. The washer and dryer in the unit was also a plus, as we could dry our beach towels quickly at the end of each day. There were also plenty of bathroom towels provided in each bathroom. The unit view was everything we wanted and the large sliding glass doors were wonderful for viewing the emerald ocean. The balcony was a good size with a high table/two high chairs and a small table with two regular chairs. The fifth floor was perfect, as it was far enough away from the noise, but so close to the ocean. Additionally, the staff was very kind, helpful, and personable. Jessica got us checked in quickly, even though we were early. We enjoyed the beach until she gave us a phone call to let us know the unit was ready. The beach service was also exceptional. Every day the umbrellas and chairs were set up promptly. The staff was very friendly and got to know you quickly, which was a nice touch to feeling "at home". Mike provided beach service for the duration of our stay and it was nice to see a familiar face to welcome you! The beach is private and patrolled by a life guard and sheriffs, allowing you to enjoy the beach without over crowding or unruly guests. There is also an outdoor shower between the beach and unit so you can quickly rinse all of the sugar white sand off before entering your room or the pool. We will absolutely be back to this rental and could not be happier that we stumbled across it. Newman-Dailey does a great job managing the units and the gift card offers they provide are an added bonus of staying here. Thank you for all for making our stay unforgettable!

March 2017 Stay

We loved Jade East. The unit was updated, beautifully decorated and very clean. It was very quiet and relaxing. We had a great view from the 5th floor unit. Jade East has plenty of amenities. We highly recommend Newman-Dailey. They are very friendly and you get some wonderful bonuses. Our only complaint was that we had to go back home. We are planning on coming back!
