Bienvenue Tout le Monde. This Quillan town home boasts and open living/dining room which opens to a long balcony overlooking the activities on the main square. Featuring an open living/dining room with comfortable furniture and a fireplace with wood burner insert, a well equipped kitchen, and 4 inviting bedrooms (2 ensuite), including 1 king bed, 2 full beds, and 1 twin bed. 3 full bathrooms are equipped with walk-in showers, hair dryers and toiletries. Enjoy the amenities of a washing machine, dishwasher, full refrigerator/freezer, large cooker, and WiFi. Each bedroom was thoughtfully decorated for the comfort of our guests. High quality mattresses are made with cotton sheets. Luxurious cotton towels and terry cloth robes are provided. Hot beverage trays are on each floor for early morning sipping. Free parking is just around the corner. It's a short walk to the chateau, le boulangerie, restaurants, cafes, wine bars, shopping, tourist office, and the two weekly markets.

Whether holidaying in spring, summer, fall or winter, this bustling town has activities for everyone. In the warm months, there are local swim and fishing lakes within walking or biking distance, abundant locations for fly fishing, rafting, canoeing, and swimming holes in the Aude River. Mediterranean beaches are 90 minutes away and there one can sample seafood fresh from the morning's catch after a day of fun in the sun at either a beach club (think lying on comfy recliners with your favorite beverage delivered), or the relatively sparse public beach. Summer festivals in Quillan, and nearby towns, have great live music and entertainment for all ages. The summer Thursday night market takes place just outside the front door! Autumn brings celebrations of the wine harvests and mushroom hunting, crisp mornings and perfect days for hiking or biking. Don't have a car? Use one of our bikes or the local Llio bus routes, which run between Perpignan and Carcassonne for a mere 1 or 2 euros.

At Salazar Winery in the next town, sample the famous Blanquette de Limoux, the first sparkling wine to be discovered, and other regional wines. On Sunday mornings, Esperaza holds its weekly market, renown for traditional and non-traditional wares. Mirepoix's very expansive and traditional Monday morning market invites one to stroll through the vast produce tables and stalls of domestic wares and clothes, and then have lunch under the medieval arcades surrounding the town center.
