Really cute place, amazing views and backyard. No AC and dead bugs weirdly piled up in the bathroom overnight. But overall such an incredible place and location! Would stay again!
This was our first VRBO booking and we couldnt ask for a better place to stay! The house is beautiful and more than comfortable and so clean. We loved the yard and the outdoor fire pit while enjoying tubing in the snow! A perfect getaway! Close to downtown grocery store, bakery, pizza and gas- adorable town. We will definitely book The Copper Mouse again and next time for a longer getaway! It was the greatest experience making the best memories. Thank you again.
The views of the mountains are as beautiful as they appear in the photos on the website! The "Copper Moose", as the cabin is called, is a gem. Located on a ridge off of the backroad from Lake Willoughby to Barton, the cabin has all of the amenities you need for a summer or winter vacation in NEK (Vermont's Northeast Kingdom). The wonderful front room combines kitchen, dining room, and living room with 180 degree windows that offer views of fields and forests and mountains, with an ample deck where we had most of our meals. The kitchen had a good selection of cookware for our family of four. Two bathrooms, one in the master bedroom at the back and one off of the second bedroom and both with showers, make this especially easy for larger parties. Tracy, the host, was very responsive to all our questions and requests. It's a well-maintained property that has a lot to offer, with easy access to the lake and other nearby attractions.
