The lake (Inchiquin Lake) is renowned for fishing, and you will see boats on it daily. Fishing can be arranged over at the pier. The surrounding area is great for nature walks in the Burran, its a 5-mile trek to Mullaghmore peak. The village of Corofin is approx 1.5km and has several shops, pubs, and restaurants.
