About this property

Guest house near Mt Rainier w/ private fire pit area & BBQ

It may look like a regular mobile home, but when you step inside, it feels more like a tiny cabin. Hunting and wildlife decorations are throughout the whole building.
The log furniture makes a perfect rustic getaway, and it helps one to disconnect. Its natural rugged look represents another time long ago when things were simpler...
It is only about 850 square feet, but it can easily accommodate up to 8 guests if you don't mind being close to each other.
Bedroom number one features a queen size bed, and an additional mattress can be pulled out from under the bed if needed.
Bedroom number 2 is very tiny and features a twin-over-twin bunk bed, and a twin bed next to it. An additional twin-size bed and a long couch are added to the living room for extra guests. For your entertainment a Smart 55" TV with Netflix was recently added to the living room as well. The Wifi is not very fast, but we do have one.

The kitchen does NOT have a cooking stove, but we do provide 2 electric pans where you can cook just about anything. A slow cooker and an instant pot are provided as well. We do have a good size refrigerator, microwave, toaster, blender, and a kettle for your coffee or tea. (provided).
You will also find cups, glasses, silverware, dishes, salad bowls, a cutting board, a knife, kitchen utensils, and a few other little things you may need for cooking like salt, pepper, & oil. The dining table sits 6 people and one more extra chair is added to the side.

The kitchen has a door that leads to the back of the mobile home where you will find a secluded firepit area with a BBQ , table, and chairs, surrounded by tiki torches, lights, and trees. Enjoy your dinner or a glass of wine while listening to the sound of coyotes who are often howling in the distance as soon as it gets dark.

Our doors are open day and night, so same-day arrival is not a problem at all.

Be back soon!

We loved our stay here. Accommodations were cozy, clean and there were lots of fun things to do inside and out. Host was super helpful and responsive and went above and beyond. We'll definitely be back!

Had a great weekend stay!

We had a fantastic time, the house was clean, but could use more kitchen appliances. Host was quick to respond and readily available when I had a question! Clean and cozy stay. Kids loved it!

Trailer

Pros: great location less than 30 minutes from the Nisqually entrance, cute pups, super responsive host Cons: host didn’t provide check in or WiFi info until asked. No towels or dish towels. When asked, only towels, hand towels or wash clothes were provided. Trailer didn’t look like it was cleaned or cleaned out between guests. Only one fan despite temps in the mid 80s.

Awesome place!

Our family of four—two adults, a 19-year-old son, and a 16-year-old daughter—had a delightful overnight stay at this charming guest house near Mt. Rainier. The rustic, cabin-like decor with hunting and wildlife themes and log furniture transported us to a simpler time, offering a perfect retreat. The guest house, about 850 square feet, comfortably accommodated us. The main bedroom had a queen-size bed, while the second bedroom featured a cozy twin-over-twin bunk bed and a twin bed, perfect for our kids. The living room was cozy and entertaining, with a 55" Smart TV with Netflix. The kitchen, equipped with electric pans, a slow cooker, and an instant pot, met all our cooking needs. The dining area was well-suited for family meals. The highlight was the secluded fire pit area with a BBQ, where we enjoyed dinner surrounded by tiki torches and the sounds of coyotes in the distance. This guest house provided a unique and peaceful escape, allowing us to unwind and appreciate the natural beauty of the Mt. Rainier area. We highly recommend it for a cozy, rustic getaway.

Stay at Mt Rainier Cabin

Firstly, we find the location absolutely fantastic. It was a beautiful spot, and our children had a wonderful time outside playing. On first impression, everything in the house looked fine. However, as we settled in, we noticed a few issues that we tried to adress to the owner concerning the cleanliness. - The bathroom tub was dirty. - The coffee machine was filled with mold. - The towels were full of hair from the previous user. - The refrigerator was dirty. - There was dirty, brown water in the kettle. - There was not enough material in the kitchen for 4 people to eat and drink. - The BBQ grill had not been cleaned by the user. We are not the type of people who leave negative reviews without giving feedback first. We wanted to let the host know about these issues but this was not received in a good way by the owner..

Disappointed stay

I really want to give this place a good review since Brady is so responsive and nice but the mobile home is so outdated and dirty. The first night we checked in we had trouble with locking one of the doors. We felt really unsafe. Brady told me how to lock it after but I still feel unsafe since the locks on 2 of the doors seem pretty flimsy. When I was in the shower the water stopped working. And the hot and cold water was finicky. Overall it was jot a pleasant stay for my family

Cosy family cabin

Very close to Mount Rainier. Comfortable. Beautiful nature surrounding the cabin. Plenty of outdoor space for kids to run around. Good host with prompt communication. Would come back again.

Amazing stay! Our kids didn't want to leave.

Brady's property was our kids' dream come true! It had a great cabin in the woods vibe with room for everyone (4 kids in our group) to spread out a bit and for the kids to run around. The kitchen was simple, but vacation meals should be simple as well! It was a relaxing stay that was nice and cozy on a chilly night. Not far from Mt. Ranier so we could get an early start. Brady and his wife were so kind and offered advice on the park and area. If we are ever in the area again, this is where we will definitely stay!
