Great cabin. Everything was clean and comfortable. Very easy to check in.
Great location - just a short drive to most of the major attractions in the area. Perfect place to stay for a visit to the Black Hills.
Great location, cozy cabin, two bathrooms a plus. Easy drives to Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, Wind Cave, Jewel Cave, Needles Highway and Wildlife Loop to see the Bison is a must, also many more attractions close by. Would stay there again. Thanks for the hospitality Karen!
Had a lil trouble finding out which cabin we were supposed to be in, but after that we had the most enjoyable stay! The lawn was beautiful and the lil stream was sweet. We had all the quiet one could ask for.

Not good for elderly
Disappointed that it wasn't a cabin. It was a trailer with log cabin siding. Very nice inside but narrow hallways, low toilet seats. Right on major highway, so sitting outside was not relaxing. Most noise masked when inside with doors/windows shut and AC running. Ceiling fans need maintenance, out of balance, clicking.
It said pots and pans but the pans were very limited. The toilets were very short and hard for elderly to get off of. Tubs had no grippers on bottom so very slick. It said a loft but had to crawl on hands and knees to use. Oven did not work. We had 2 full size forks and rest were appetizer forks. Should tell you that the grill is like in a park, not very big for 5 people. It was ok but wouldnt rent again. Need to tell a few more details. Very clean but very small for 5 people.
This was one of the 2 cabins we stayed at during our visit to SD. This isnt remote, but was perfect location to the sites and activities we wanted to do at the beginning of our trip. The property was very clean and had good space for all 4 of us. We were happy with our stay and Karen was easy to contact with any questions we had.
One bedroom/bathroom was much smaller than the pictures led us to believe but overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our cabin was very clean and we were conveniently located to the sites we wanted to see.
The cabin was wonderful. It was very clean and having two baths with separate hot water tanks was great for a family of five.
The location is also perfect. Hill City really is a geographic center of all to explore in the area, from Lake Sylvan in Custer Park to Mount Rushmore to Badlands to Bear Country to so much more!
We are so happy we picked this plce to stay for our vacation!
It was really nice. We did know about the wifi situation but was still a little bummed that there was no service of any kind. (We have gotten too used to technology I guess!!) Maybe we have the wrong carrier too? The only major issue was the puddle in the parking lot of that was right where we were to park. After the rain, it was a complete mess and it got tracked into the cabin and in our vehicle. Maybe want to think about more gravel. A collection of DVDs and a player would be a nice touch and a couple games to play on rainy nights.
Located close to just about everything and plenty of room for our family of 5. It was great to have Dairy twist on the property too. Clean and comfortable
The cabin was clean and comfortable. The sleeping loft for the kids was great! My only negative remark was around the kitchen. While the listing notes fully furnished, there was no dish soap to do dishes, and not even salt and pepper.
