Dan and Kate's Place sits in a private cul-de-sac backing up to the Huntington Beach State Park. The house has an open and spacious floor plan with seven bedrooms- five bedrooms on the main level and two on the lower level. Each level has its own family room making it great for a family with teenagers or two families vacationing together.

When entering Cricket Loop you'll notice the gorgeous old Oak Trees from which the Spanish moss hangs. Dan and Kate's Place gives the feeling of seclusion while still only steps from the beach as it is tucked back off of the Loop down a driveway bordering the woods of the park. When entering the house you'll notice the beautiful woodwork and exposed wooden beams on the vaulted ceiling along with the open large family room with fireplace and flat screen television adjacent to a newly renovated well equipped kitchen and dining area. This room looks over a breezy screened in back porch which stretches the length of the original house from where you can enjoy the sounds of the breaking waves and views of this brand new pool with spa and waterfall. This level consists of two spacious king master bedrooms with private baths , two queen bedrooms with private baths and a smaller bedroom which can be used as a nursery, a great room for young children, or even an office. Down a brand new staircase you will find another huge family room with a 40' screen television, and the glass doors overlook a patio and brand new pool in the backyard. There are two bedrooms on this level. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has two twins with yet another full bathroom between the bedrooms. There are televisions in each bedroom. The laundry room is located on the lower level as well as a storage area for beach chairs, beach bikes, and various beach toys for your enjoyment. The outside shower is located under the house!
Dan and Kate's Place is located on the northern end of North Litchfield Beach. This area of the beach is less crowded because there are no public beach parking lots or condos. There is plenty to do though! The house is located a little over a mile from the grocery store, within a few miles of Murrels Inlet which is famous for its many seafood restaurants lining a beautiful walkway along the inlet, and a few miles from the eclectic Pawley's Island Shops. For even more activity, you can drive north 20 miles or so and be in the middle of the action of Myrtle Beach! Dan and Kate's Place is really 'the best of the beach'!!!!!!
In the off season we do offer 4 night minimum stays so you can grab a long weekend. Please note that we do add the housekeeping fee to any stay less than 5 nights and that is not reflected in the original quote! The pool (hot tub also)can be heated in the fall and spring with an extra charge determined by the cost of propane at that time. We can not heat the pool November through March.
