You will be back!

The building is a Solid brick building and the walls must be made of lead because I hardly heard anything from above, below or next door. The building is kept quite clean, garbage room,, mailroom, the laundry room is spotless and the washers and dryer’s are in excellent working condition and plentiful.

Spacious and Lovely

I lived here for three months straight and I cannot recommend this place enough. You will love it and is a perfect choice to stay during your visit to Portland. Great location (close to grocery, liquor, cute shops, post office, anything you could possibly need during your stay), nice accommodations such as cooking items and cleaning supplies, it's a quiet and great place to retreat to at the end of the day, both Ellen and James are very responsive if you're ever in need of something and incredibly helpful. I can't recommend this place enough!

A lovely, comfortable apartment

This is a lovely, comfortable apartment, in a quiet, convenient part of the Pearl District. The street car stop is right across the street, and there are lots of fun restaurants 2 blocks in any direction. The apartment is well stocked, and the kitchen is great. Ellen was wonderful to work with, and there is a key box that makes move in and out worry free.

Great place!

We had a wonderful stay. The location is perfect for what we were looking for and Ellen was a kind host. The place had everything we needed for a long stay. The only negative I would say is that the windows let in a lot of noise. Other than that, a terrific stay in a really great place.

A wonderful place to stay

My husband & I stayed here for 2 months during our relocation to Portland, and were very happy. Great location, walking distance to loads of good restaurants, bars and shops. The apartment is comfortable and well looked after, with lots of thoughtful touches. It has everything you need. I had a couple of small questions for the owner when we arrived, and she replied to my texts right away.

home away from home

My husband and I have stayed in this property on two long term stays (five weeks from in December, 2014 and again from mid-December to mid-January in 2015). It is delightful. The building is located on the streetcar line and within walking distance to the trendy NW area and various amenities. The restaurant and bar scene is fabulous. There's parking. If you have a vehicle access to 405 is seconds away. The condo itself is small, but tidy and with separate living and bedroom makes it seem much larger. The kitchen is updated and fully stocked so cooking at home is always an option. Safe, secure, clean, and comfortable - a return trip is definitely in our future.

Perfectly located NW Portland Condo

My partner and I stayed in the condo for ~5 weeks in October / November with our newborn babies. The condo was perfect for our needs - superbly located at walking distance from Portland's greatest areas, clean, quiet and well equipped. We felt completely "at home away from home". The condo met its description perfectly and similarly met our expectations fully. Ellen, the owner, was pleasant to interact with, accommodating and responsive. A problem with the plumbing in our unit was immediately and fully repaired. Relatives who stayed in another one of Ellen's units in the same building also experienced excellent service. The only (minor) disadvantages I would note - the unit didn't have a duvet, so if you're picky about sleeping with one make sure you bring your own; the unit doesn't have A/C (though fans are provided), so if you tend to be hot, you should consider that fact. Regardless, we would warmly recommend this unit to couples that are looking to comfortably spend some time in a great part of town.

AMAZING CONDO IN IDEAL LOCATION!!!!!

I was very fortunate to find this amazing condo available to rent while I was in Portland for work. I was there for a little over two months and I can honestly say that it was hard to leave as I was traveling back home. The condo is very comfortable and has absolutely anything that a business/vacation traveler needs… and much more! The building is very quaint, and has a lot of character and is conveniently located right across the street from public transportation. The location could not have been better, as it is a few blocks away and walking distance from all the great bars and restaurants on 21st and 23rd, and also very close to grocery stores, coffee shops, gyms, the post office, multiple banks, and anything that one could ever need. I had the pleasure to meet some of the people living in the building and everyone is super friendly. I travel around the country for work quite a bit, and I can honestly say that this was one of my most enjoyable stays. Ellen was great to deal with. She is very responsive and answered my questions immediately. She was very flexible with me, as I had to postpone my departure time and just made my life a lot easier while I was there. This is THE place to stay when you are in Portland, and I will definitely be staying here again if I'm back in Portland.

Perfect location in the Rose City

We were fortunate to find this one bedroom unit for our 1 month stay in Portland for the month of July. Ellen was extremely accommodating and provided advance check in and check out correspondence so we easily accessed the unit. The combination lock on the door is a nice feature so you don't have multiple keys to fiddle with. The unit was very well appointed. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook full meals. There are a number of grocery stores within walking distance and the public transportation stops right out front of the building. With so many awesome restaurants nearby, I didn't cook as much as I thought I would. It was warm in July, but the unit stayed cool with the fan that was provided. It also provided a white noise benefit for some of the city sounds. The washer/dryer room was clean, convenient and reasonably priced. TV and internet worked great. Would definitely select this unit again if traveling to Portland.

Trustful and friendly owner

While ultimately we ended up not renting this condo, i would like to give kudos to Ellen for the way she handled our many questions and for being very forthcoming to make sure that the condo was indeed right for us. We had a timely e-mail exchange, and in our phone conversations Ellen appeared very friendly which let me trust her right away. She showed great flexibility in trying to organize a nice and comfortable stay for us. It's a matter of life that sometimes things do not go as planned. Still, when I return to Porland I definitely intend to give this condo another try.

Great 3-month Stay

1-bedroom condo is located in a great spot of NW Downtown Portland...it seemed like anything was within a 20 minute walk. And if I didn't feel like walking, I jumped on the Streetcar, which had a stop right next to the building. The condo is very up-to-date, the bed very comfortable and it has all the necessary cooking items you'd expect in a kitchen. The condo is clean. You also get a reserved (not covered) parking spot. There are community washers & dryers on the 1st floor. Whether you are in town for the weekend or looking for a longer stay (I stayed 3 months), this will fit the ticket.

The perfect Portland condo

This condo is in the perfect location. Easily walkable to everything the Pearl District and North West has to offer. There are simply too many great restaurants, cafes and bars to list, all within walking distance. Plus, the Streetcar is a minute from the door, giving easy access to the downtown Portland and the rest of the city. We took the Streetcar/MAX back to the airport too – the journey takes about an hour and is very simple...and cheap! The condo was very clean, comfortable and quiet, with a well-equipped kitchen, and everything we needed for our stay. A decent-sized TV, with cable, iPod dock, ironing board, hairdryer, washing facilities etc. All you'd need for a short or longer stay. I dealt with Ellen via email throughout, and she was prompt and helpful. We're planning to relocate to Portland and, if we need to stay again, we'll definitely consider this condo. Needless to say, we would highly recommend.
