Our stay at the property was so quiet and peaceful; it was a welcome escape from everyday life. This is the perfect country getaway. The view of the adjacent cattle farm provided us with a bit of entertainment as we sat on the deck sipping coffee while watching calves run and play. The bunkhouse is beautiful, and communication was excellent. Thank you for the wonderful stay!
We really enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for our needs. Very clean and well appointed, the holiday decor was a great touch, to make the house feel like home. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces were great! We will definitely book again when we are in the area!
Love the bunk house. Beautiful country views made us feel at home. We spent a lot of time at family's home but wished we had spent more time at the vrbo bunk house loved it on our short stay.
This property is quite impressive. Centered in rural Indiana for quiet and relaxation. Still close enough to Wabash and Peru for supplies. I would definitely stay again. It is a beautiful home!
Rental was modern, clean and beautiful! The surrounding fields were so serene and relaxing. We couldn’t have asked for a better unit to rent. Would definitely stay here again!
We have stayed twice now at the Bunkhouse and absolutely love it! The bunkhouse sits on an amazing cattle farm setting where peace and serenity are all around. The description of the property is spot on and the host, Carrie, is amazing! She is quick to respond and provides personal touches to your stay. We will definitely stay again!
Host was very nice and responsive even gave us a welcome sign woth our name and sine delicious cookies. No problem at all with this location house is more than its advertised. Will be staying again
Carrie was wonderful to communicate with. The place was so cute & peaceful!! The views were 100% nature & wonderful! Beautiful big shower….very nice beds/bedrooms. Loved the open concept living area. The balcony deck was so nice to have and it’s covered so protected from the weather. The kitchen was very nice…..we all enjoyed trail walks and came back to fix simple things and soak up the place.
Thanks Carrie for everything!
Absolutely incredible property! Great kitchen for cooking, spacious bathroom, beautiful outdoor living area. House was perfect for a weekend get away to unplug and unwind with friends and loved ones. There was some spotty cellphone service, but there is WiFi available at the house to use if you need it.
The cleanest, cutest, most peaceful house. The patio and the landscape and views made me feel like I was in a movie. The best hosts with great communication and kindness. Host was flexible with check in, and then very accommodating when we had troubles with a tire in the morning of checkout.
I was in the area for a wedding at The Promise Barn, but I may need to find a reason to visit this cute place again. 10 out of 10 and then some!!!
Great find about 15 minutes outside of main street Peru. Pretty remote and quiet. House was great with a nice deck. 2 bedrooms on main with 1.5 baths and a 3rd bedroom downstairs. All queen beds.
This place was amazing! The welcome sign and fresh baked cookies was a perfect touch! Very clean, everything we needed was there. We seen many deer in the field but also crossing the yard first thing in the morning. We got to see a new born baby cow before we left. The morning sunrise out on the deck was breathtaking. We WILL be staying here again. We highly recommend this place!!!
Rees Bunkhouse was a beautiful spot out in the country with a gorgeous view. From the deck, you could sit in the chairs and drink your coffee while watching the sun rise over serene fields. The bunkhouse itself is roomy and attractively decorated in a western theme. Everything looked clean, and although we did see a couple of things, they were quickly dealt with by the property owner.
There were the usual amenities like coffee grounds available, a washer/dryer combo with detergent on hand, a tiny bottle of dish soap, and detergent for the dishwasher. There were towels, hand towels, and wash cloths with extras available, and dish towels for the kitchen. Most any dishes you could want were in the cupboards and drawers. Water bottles in a mini cooler fridge, and bottled water for the coffee maker. Do be sure to bring your own shower necessities, and maybe napkins.
It's a lovely place and was the perfect restful spot to stay as our family celebrated the life of our father/grandfather.
