I was disappointed with this property. When walked in the house had a musty smell. The backyard was quite overgrown and not taking care of. The outside table and small patio were covered in seeds and spider webs. There were large ants, dead and alive around in the house. The dishwasher did not work. The floors were not clean under the furniture and along the baseboards. The front door keypad did not work.
We had a really nice stay! It was a combination work and vacation visit so some of us had to work part of the time. We easily found space to work while the rest were able to relax in other parts of the house. The neighborhood is quiet and family friendly. It was fun to walk in the surrounding neighborhood and to the downtown area which is only a few blocks away. Our recommendations for your visit:
- Walk through the Downtown Cary Park
- Get a coffee at Esteamed
- Grab a hot dog and a root beer float at Ashworth's
- Take in a movie or show at The Cary Theater or The Cary Arts Center
We enjoyed our stay very much! Thank You!
The location to downtown Cary is great. Good house setup with three sitting areas, including a sunroom and three bedrooms that worked well for our family. Nice renovation of an older home with some modern touches: good furniture, TVs in a lot of the rooms, USB charging stations, nice lighting and fans in the bedrooms. But, the kitchen and bathrooms are original with some charm but don’t expect the modern amenities there.
Worked very well for our family of six and we would definitely rent here again.
