Introducing Granada Del Mar, a stunning beachfront condominium comprising 36 units located just west of Christiansted. This spacious retreat features 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, accommodating up to 4 guests comfortably.
Each bedroom offers a serene sanctuary for rest and relaxation, with one boasting a luxurious king bed accompanied by two nightstands, while the other provides two full beds complemented by a single nightstand. Ample storage space is provided by full closets and dressers, while the full bathrooms feature beautifully tiled showers.
Recently renovated in 2013, our condo boasts modern kitchen and bath cabinets, as well as new appliances including a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave, and washer & dryer. A gas grill is available for outdoor culinary delights. While air conditioning is an option, the refreshing trade winds often render it unnecessary.
The property features a large pool and a charming clubhouse complete with ping pong facilities. Additionally, a putting green adds a touch of recreational fun to your stay.
Nestled in a tranquil neighborhood, Granada Del Mar offers a serene and relaxing ambiance. With a swimming beach, restaurants, and bars just a short driving distance, convenience meets coastal bliss. THIS IS TOO GOOD

We stayed for nearly 6 weeks. It’s ground floor on the ocean. The waves are about 50’ away, but it’s not a swimming beach. There was always seaweed and rocks out there. We loved to sit on the patio and watch the ocean. We did have many windy days, but just go to the other side of the island for calmer seas.This unit had a small, nice well equipped kitchen with a washer & dryer. The dining, living room area was spacious with a great TV. The bedrooms & bathrooms worked well for our group. The WiFi worked great (except for the back bedroom). The AC worked great!The neighbors were friendly and several had dogs which wasn’t a problem. The building has a generator which can be a big plus cause St Croix has power outages. We liked the location, but had to drive wherever we wanted go. Renting a vehicle from Centerline is a must.We felt safe back in the corner where Granda Del Mar is located. Very little traffic in this area.

The views are stunning

The communication with the property manager before arrival was lacking, I had several questions as I had never been before to St. Croix and it took quite awhile for responses and a few questions never got answered. We had no hot water on our 1st night, I had to call back in order to see about resolution, a few quirky housekeeping things that I shouldn't have had to take care of but we did, power surges daily are interesting, definitely on the outskirts of town, you will need taxis/car rental for moving about, but to listen to waves crashing all day while in the living room, perfect..quiet & peaceful for sure...

Best place to stay - Amazing view, super clean and comfortable!

Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was immaculate, the beds and other furnishings were comfortable and we appreciated having everything we needed to prepare meals. Being right on the beach was the best part with the spectacular view and the sounds of the crashing waves. The drive into town and to the airport was quick and easy. We plan to return to stay here again!!

Great beach for sea glass

My wife and her two friends love to look for sea glass and were very happy with what they found on the beach. For me it was having the beach at my backdoor. Listening to the waves break on the beach and the incredible view was the best.

Well appointed and comfortable

The condo was well stocked with everything you would need for a week long girls trip. Plenty of kitchen supplies and both beach and bath towels. Right on a rocky beach with a great view but not for swimming especially since it was incredibly windy the whole week. Was a great central location making it easy to get to other parts of the island. My friends and I truly enjoyed our stay. The only small issue we had was getting down the steps to the beach. There was a pretty flimsy wood ramp at the bottom and the hand rail didn’t go far enough down to be able to grab it on your way back up. Would recommend some enhancement to that especially if being used by older renters. Other than that we truly loved the unit.

Amazing oceanfront stay

I’ve read the previous reviews and I have to say some of them are unfair. You can clearly see that the condo’s decor and furnishings are outdated. But the place is clean, well stocked and ON THE OCEAN. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the neighbors. I learned a lot about being respectful of the turtle egg laying areas. My BIL caught a massive piranha with the gear supplied by the condo: it was the highlight of his trip. It is hard to find with GPS which the owners help with. And everything you want to see on the island is about 20 minutes away. We loved our stay and hope to visit again.

No AC and unsafe neighborhood

The AC was not working. We looked at the guests book and this was an ongoing problem, along with many others. It is on the water, but very difficult to enter there. It is surrounded by an unsafe neighborhood, as we were told by a neighbor. We were urged to not leave at night. There was construction scaffolding between us and the water next door. We left and found wonderful lodging at the Tamarind Reef. Highly recommend it! Great for food, entertainment, and snorkeling.

Super stay!

We had a great time! The owners were responsive. Robin was great to deal with. Condo has amazing neighbors. Everything was clean and comfortable. Would recommend 100%. Will definitely rent this property again. Couldnt have asked for a better smoother experience with a vrbo.

Beautiful view

The condo is right on the beach, with a fabulous view of the ocean from the living room. We liked that it was within walking distance to a good restaurant (The Palms). Enjoyed relaxing on the patio, watching the crashing waves. Very close to Christiansted where you'll find dining and shopping. About 20-30 minutes to the west side of the island, where you can find some of the best beaches on the island, and watch for a green flash at sunset (they occur when the horizon is unobstructed by clouds). Robin, the property manager was very responsive and friendly.

Amazing view and great place to stay!

This property was amazing! Just steps to the Caribbean Sea! So well equipped with beach and bath towels, snorkeling gear, beach chairs, even sunscreen. The kitchen had plenty of silverware, dishes, pots and pans, even spices and seasonings. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows and blankets. The outdoor living space was excellent with lounge chairs as well as a dining table and chairs. We spent a lot of time outside listening to the sea. The pool was beautiful and large but the water was cold! The surrounding area is quiet and within walking distance to a small beach and restaurant. Less than a mile to a gas station and convenience store. Many other great restaurants and stores just a few miles away by car. There is even a large selection of books that can be borrowed in the condo’s common area. I highly recommend this property!

The condo was very nice! It was clean and the views were gorgeous. Priceless!

It was wonderful. Have to beware of the turtle beds in front of the property. Don't break the rules using white lights at night or the neighbors get upset. The property manager talked us through the island ins and outs for the most part to make sure our stay was the best. Great place to stay, nice and centralized on the island.

Fantastic property

This condo was awesome. It was well stocked with everything you need: Spices, oil, coffee filters, plates bowls, cookware (one with teflon), beach towels, cooler, folding chairs, comfortable furniture, king-sized bed, pool on the ocean, etc. It is on the ground floor so we could walk straight out to the ocean. Loved sitting on the patio listening to the waves crashing. This is more of a listening beach and not a swimming beach since there are lots of rocks and the water is rough. Less than a 10 minute drive to swimming beaches and the boardwalk with lots restaurants and bars in Christiansted. Recommend getting a car to go to some of the best beaches and Fredericksted (snorkeling at the pier there was awesome).

Nice condo & great location

The condo was exactly as presented in the listing. The kitchen very well equipped. We absolutely loved being on the ground floor with the enclosed outdoor space and the outdoor patio area where you can walk right out to the sand. We found the neighbors to be very nice and friendly as well. It's an easy drive into Christiansted for restaurants.

Almost perfect vacation!

From the moment we entered the condo, we were blown away by the beauty of the waves and sand right outside the unit, as pictured. The room sixes were generous, except for the kitchen, but it was more than adequate. And it was equipped with everything you could want, from spices to aluminum foil to leftover dishes, a blender, etc. Really, just bring your essentials! When getting take out, the portions were huge. Unless you have big eaters, one main course and a couple of extra sides are plenty. Try LaReine Chicken Shack, Blues & BBQ (both close by), Rainbow Grill (Fredrickstad), and Soin Farm Distillery for vodka flights / tours / lunch. Downside: The pool. It is big, very clean, but FREEZING!!! If you were willing to get in, you could not stay in for more than five minutes before your teeth were chattering! I asked the maintenance man if the temperature could be turned up, and was told the manager would not do that. This was a major problem for me, as water aerobics is my main form of exercise due to a back injury, and we chose this place partly because of the pool. ☹️ So, overall, if you want a great place to relax, this is it. If you want walkable shops and restaurants, not so much. But the neighbors were great, Robin the property manager was fantastic and very helpful in making check in easy and answering questions ahead of time. We won’t definitely consider a return, especially if the pool temperature issue is fixed!

Good and bad

The condo was very clean but the property pictures for the outside needs to be updated. The beach is covered in rock so we had to go other places for beach. Also, the exterminator showed up on our last day and sprayed the condo. Something that could have waited until the next day. This is a good place to stay but one will have to go out on the island for beach area

New Years stay 2022

We enjoyed our stay at this property. St Croix is beautiful this time of the year. Communication with Robin was really good- especially when she had to relocate us when the AC unit froze up and the unit had a water leak. We eventually was able to return to the unit. Loved the ocean and collecting sea glass. Everyone was very nice.

Great location!

We loved our stay - sitting on the patio listening to the waves was wonderful! The condo had everything we needed for our days on the beach. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking. Comfy beds. Quiet location, easy drive to Christiansted. Communication with host was excellent. Thank you!

Great communication very helpful

We had a great stay! The beach was literally right out the back patio, had chairs, coolers, pretty much anything you would need for beach! A/C had some glitches but got to them ASAP!! I have no complaints at all!! Great vaca

We live state side in Massachusetts. We own and operate a family construction company. Hoping some day to spend some of our retirement on the beautiful island of St Croix. We have recently renovated our condo in 2013 and hope you enjoy it, too!

Why they chose this property

We acquired this property from my parents in 2000. We have visited St Croix many times prior to purchasing it. Simply, we love the beauty of the island and the fact that it is less touristy than other isla nds. If we choose to, the other US Virgin Islands are only a Ferry or Sea Plane ride away. The spirit of St Croix, happy pleasant people, uncrowded beaches and sunshine have kept us attracted.

What makes this property unique

We can always close our eyes and hear the sound of the ocean tapping the shore from our condo. The breeze has a very comforting feeling for us.
