About this property

Sauna & Hot Tub Creekfront Oasis · Hikers Hollow

Tucked away in the small town of Cuddebackville, you will find a wonderful rough cut cabin with all the comforts and amenities for a relaxing stay. The cabin is situated on 3+ acres on a quiet dead end road with very minimal car activity. Enjoy the wonderful nature that surrounds you, with the calming sound of the stream in the background. The interior of the cabin has been updated to ensure an exceptionally comfortable stay while still holding true to its original 1940's charm.

While I will not be available in person, you can contact me through the booking channel.

Cuddebackville is quiet and simple. It is in close proximity to cute towns and outdoor adventure opportunities.

We have a smart lock on the front door to ensure an easy check-in process when you arrive.

**The Cabin:**
Step into a haven of charm and warmth. The main level greets you with spaciousness, original wood-paneled walls, and exposed beams, setting the tone for rustic elegance. A handy mudroom welcomes you in, leading to an open living and dining area where a cozy fireplace and a large picture window invite relaxation. Off the living area, a serene first-floor bedroom awaits. An additional sunlit seating area with another fireplace offers a perfect retreat. The full-sized kitchen features a quaint breakfast nook, and the full bathroom is conveniently located on this floor.

**Upstairs:**
Beneath skylights, the primary bedroom feels like a dream. The third bedroom, accessible by its own staircase, connects charmingly to the kitchen. The middle room upstairs doubles as a peaceful reading nook or a fourth bedroom with a pullout full-size bed, perfect for versatile accommodations.

**Outdoor Space:**
Step out the back door to a private oasis: a large dining area, BBQ grill, hot tub, fire pit, and outdoor games. The garage has been transformed into a fitness space for active guests. A path beside the garage winds down to a serene stream, where you'll find a custom sauna, hammock, and another fire pit. This tranquil spot immerses you in nature, offering an unforgettable retreat.

The cabin is approx. 10 minutes from the Otisville Train Station, which is about 2 hours from Penn Station.

The ceiling height of the main floor is about 7 feet. There are two door frames on the main level that are quite low (about 6').

The freezer is a chest which is located in the unfinished basement and accessible from the kitchen.

The stone fireplace in the yellow room is unusable and should not be lit.

One of the bedrooms has a staircase that leads down to the kitchen. There is no door to those stairs.

The Hot tub is available year round.

Clean linens are provided for each guest and beds are made like in the pictures but we do not provide flat sheets.

We do not guarantee that there is cooking oil, pam, butter, aluminum foil or baking sheets.

Perfect

We could not have selected a more perfect location for much needed respite, relaxation and reconnection. The sauna and hot tub took the entire experience to the next level! Owners were very responsive and trusting. We had a blast and plan to return.

You have to try it!

We really enjoyed our winter getaway weekend at Hikers Hollow. Arriving later on a Thursday night we appreciated the little things: all the paths had been shoveled including down to the Sauna, the extra propane tank for the grill, the firewood stacked and covered, and the firestarter sticks (plenty). While the kitchen and bathroom were smaller they were setup well and accommodated six people comfortably and had everything we needed. The sauna and hot tub worked great and were definitely unique highlights. Looking up at the stars with snow falling in the hot tub, and pulling creek water straight out for the sauna was total relaxation with privacy. Would definitely recommend Hikers Hollow!
