The Cedars Cabin at the Lazy Oaks Resort is a cozy two bedroom, two bathroom cabin that sleeps up to 7 guests. This cabin has a full kitchen and dining room, a flat screen TV, WiFi available, and a wood burning fireplace that keeps the cabin cozy in colder months. There is a charcoal grill outside, perfect for grilling together after a beautiful day in the mountains, and a nice deck out front where guests can sit back and enjoy the fresh air. While staying on property, guests are only steps away from the Rainbow Lake. With private access, the guests of the Lazy Oaks resort enjoy fishing in the stocked lake for Blue Gill, Catfish, Northern Pike, and Large Mouth Bass. Row boats are also available for a more up close and personal experience on the lake from April 1st through October 31st. After a day on the water, sit back and enjoy any of the 3 firepits on property, or play a game of horseshoes with the family at the horseshoe pit. If you're looking to escape to the mountains, no matter the season, Cedars Cabin at the Lazy Oaks Resort is a great destination all year round where guests are sure to make lasting memories in the mountains!

Good Memories Made

We made some amazing family memories at the cabin. The cabin is cozy but outdated. It could definitely use a little TLC. The property was amazing. The views and activities were great! We would definitely return!

It was great! I was sad that I didn't have enough time to fish but it was a little cold this time of year.... Other than that, I loved it!

Get away

Overall the visit was very enjoyable. The cabin needs a lot of maintenance, especially the heater. It does not work very well and makes a loud noise. Our cabin was COLD even with a fire. The kitchen only had one pot to cook with and not many supplies. We did have fun on the walks. Very beautiful scenery. Also they allow dogs. Thank you!

Smells like animal pee

The pictures are very deceiving. You don’t have a peer or access to the lake directly off the cabin like shown in the pictures it’s out in front of all of the cabins. I think it’s great that they allow pets but when doing so there should be no carpet maybe some cheap throw rugs so the place doesn’t smell like To the point where your clothes in the suitcase smells like animal.
