15 person cabin! Enjoy the wooded privacy of our 3 level cabin with game room that includes a pool table & air hockey. Relax in our large hot tub on the deck in the woods. The entrance to The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is not very far. Take a stroll through the gardens at The Lily Barn next door. They have a Lily field and garden pathways lead you through their perennial gardens. The drive is in good condition but is steep and gravel, so we ask patrons to have a 4 wheel or all wheel drive. Very nice place. The drive to and from Pigeon Forge is pretty long(40 min) and very windy. The driveway to the cabin is no joke!! Step and sketchy as heck, but we made it just fine in our truck. We would have loved to explore Townsend more. It seemed like there was a lot of summer activities to do but we went in January. This place is great for a big group. We thoroughly enjoyed out stay.
This is our second Christmas at this cabin and we love it. Has plenty of room for the entire family! It’s always clean the owner is quick to take care of any problems you may have( the porch lights were out and the coffe maker leaked, both were repaired in a few hours) The drive way is steep but it’s very well maintained. Perfect place to get away from the world but still close enough if you want to go in to pigeon forge or gatlinburg. Definitely recommend staying here!
This is awesome getaway ,just wasnt pleased with the driveway to cabin. Love too cook an the kitchen was well supplied with great utensils, t.v was only two or three channels.
We had a wonderful stay in this cabin. While you definitely need 4WD or AWD to get to the cabin, the host is very clear about this from the beginning. The cabin is isolated in the woods but only a 40 minute drive to the action of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The kids enjoyed the hot tub, pool table, games, and air hockey table while we enjoyed coffee on the back porch in the morning. Big and spacious to allow the family to spread out or enjoy time together watching an old movie. Very close to the entrance the Park and a short drive to Wears Valley. Host was very quick to respond to inquiries before our arrival and had no problems during our stay. Would definitely stay again!
We really enjoyed our week at Flame Azalea. It was peaceful and private, which made for a perfect multi-family vacation away from all of the crowds in Gatlinburg/ Pigeon Forge. We would definitely stay here again!
We enjoyed our stay and what the cabin had to offer. The property managers were great and making arrangements to stay was easy.
The only thing I would change was the cleanliness of the place and the old decor.
The cabin could definitely use a deep cleaning in all areas and the decor, including bedding, was pretty old. It may be a theme that's going for antique but I believe for a truly wonderful Smokey Mountain experience, and the price that comes with it, that the look and feel of a place should match the area and bring you into an unforgettable place.
I'd stay here again... I just would have liked to have felt more like I was in a cabin instead of a farmhouse, with a little bit more attention to detail and cleanliness.
Overall, though, nice place though.
The property is exactly as listed. It is very clean and well stocked. We loved the game room and movies available to watch. We also enjoyed the hot tub on a cold night! Would definitely stay there again. Be sure to have 4WD vehicle for the driveway.
The cabin was nice and roomy. I loved the 4 th bedroom with the seven twin beds. All the grandkids could sleep together. Definitely need AWD or 4 WD for the long driveway. Nice hot tub. Quiet.
We rented the cabin because. Our house is. Small and when we r all here. We r stepping all over each other. We wanted to spend time together for Christmas and New with rules and regulations on covid. We needed to b somewhere besides our home and also a few years ago we decided to stop buying Christmas presents for each other. We don't need material things but the memories of time we'll spent together the cabin pervaded all that. Each child had their own bed so no one was arguing over who was sleeping with who the couple's had their own space. And my husband who is a couch potatoes in every sence of the word shot pool with our 12 year old grandson. Wonder memories and quality time under one roof where we could social distance. Not to mention a snow storm. That kept us from. Diving all the way up. We had to hike part of the way. Which was a Hugh milestone for all involved
picutres do not do this property justice. the inside and outside of this property was absolutley beautiful. it was everything thta i was hoping for, for our 10 people stay. The owner of the home, Janice was so wonderful and helpful with every step of the process. The reviews about the driveway are 100% true. you absolutely need 4 whhel drive to access the top!! all of our firned had trucks and 4WD and we ended up needing to be pulled up on our jeep compass. but even that was a fun ride!! we will be renting this place out again. thank you for your hospitality!!
Very nice cabin with convenient location. Driveway was challenging but nothing too bad for 4 wheel drive property owner recommends to use to get there. We even spotted a black bear one night that was roaming around. House has everything you need as we were cooking a lot and grilling. Overall lots of space and comfortable. Highly recommending to others.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Disliked: Location, listing accuracy
4 wheel drive REQUIRED
We enjoyed our stay but the driveway is overly steep. You MUST have a 4 wheel drive to get to the cabin. We had to park 2 vehicles at bottom of hill and load my brothers truck up to get back and forth to cabin. Also the pictures of the cabin are not recent. The area around the cabin is all grown up and you do not have a view from the porch. All you can see is trees. There is no insulation between main floor and upstairs. If you walk hard upstairs it sounds like someone stomping. Although there are thermostats on each floor, they are not accurate.
Perfect for the entire family cabin was clean very nice wifi was not very good but was told that up front by manager great communication highly recommend
