Close to Taino beach and Port Lucaya!
I just spent an amazing week on Grand Bahama Island with my beautiful family and we couldnt have asked for a better vacation all around. We were lucky to have met Helena who manages the condo because she was so helpful and accommodating. The place was very simple and could do with some upgrading but Helena attended to our every need and made us comfortable. She took us to the supermarket and pharmacy as these were not very close and we had no car. She showed us the town and made us feel like family. We got to do almost everything we had planned. The beaches there are unbelievable(definitly recommend Banana Bay) and the people were all very nice and the beach at Lucaya National Park is to die for. The condo was clean and the view of the canal was pleasant. However the outside was not much to look at and when we first pulled up it was deterring but once we got past that everything else was great! We watched the sunrise every morning from the balcony and got to pick fresh coconuts right off the tree outside!!! FUN!!! Even though its not directly on the ocean it was nice to have the canal view. I would consider staying here again because of Helena and its proximity to the beach!
