Wakeup to sunrises over Mt. Baker and the Twin Sisters while staying at this Beachside home at Sandy Point, WA. End your day with gorgeous sunsets over the Strait of Georgia and the San Juan Islands. In between enjoy beachcombing, watching whales and local wildlife, or just relaxing in a comfortable chair on the deck enjoying the views.

The master bedroom features a luxurious king sized foam bed, high quality linens, down comforter and beautiful views of the beach out of the double opening doors. In addition there are two guest rooms, one with a queen size bed the other with two twin beds and both rooms are fitted wiith cozy linens and comforters.

Make your meals in the fully equipped kitchen with granite counters, stainless steel appiances and everything you will need to whip up a gourmet meal, or bbq up a feast on the gas bbq while gazing out at the ocean or Mount Baker. The living room has three couches (one with a hide-a-bed) TV with a DVD player and a surround sound system. Enjoy a fire in the custom created gas river rock fireplace where the stones were hand picked from the Nooksack river.

While visiting Beachside be sure and walk the many trails, visit the marina and stroll the three mile long beach. Tennis, basketball and pickleball are also a short stroll away.
Seven (7) quality golf courses are within a half hours drive. Enjoy fabulous dining & entertainment at The Silver Reef Casino which is only 10 minutes away. Shopping and other entertainment is also nearby in either Bellingham, Ferndale, Bellingham or Blaine. The slopes and trails of Mt. Baker are a 75 minute drive to the east.

Great beach house

The views were fabulous. We loved watching the ocean traffic motor by. The beds were very comfortable. The decor of the house made us feel at home with a clean beach vibe.

Great weekend getaway in a beautiful setting

Clean and beautiful house on water. Pretty difficult to get down on the beach but the boardwalk walking trail was great. Enjoyed bellingham craft fair and shopping in Fairhaven. Easy check in. Lots of games and books.

Beautiful time

We loved our stay! The house is cute, welcoming, and cozy! The view is beautiful!! We had such a great time and felt so welcome. Communication with the host was great and she is quickly responsive. Also she is really thoughtful. We went for our 5 year wedding anniversary. We definitely would love to stay again in the future.

Perfect getaway for old friends

Stacey’s place was clean, comfortable and well-appointed. We’re a bunch of cooks and made all our meals - the kitchen was a joy!The beds were super comfy and the view can’t be beat. It was cold and rainy out so we stayed in and played games, caught up on life and laughed ourselves silly. Stacey even left us a sweet welcoming note and some too-good cookies. Checking in and out was super easy. Five stars!

Spectacular views!!!

This house is a great home base, no matter what kind of vacation you want. There are so many adventures to be had in the area! It's also a great place to relax and enjoy walks along the beach, through the grassy marsh, or to sit and enjoy the amazing views from inside or out! The house had everything we needed, including laundry, for a comfortable stay. It was a perfect spot for us! If you are looking for isolation from neighbors, this is probably not your best match. All the neighbors on the point live in close proximity to one another, including the ones on either side of the house, who were very friendly and welcoming.

Beautiful beach house

This was an exceptional clean house with fantastic views!! Owners were wonderful to work with. Just know that there are stairs inside and steps outside. Beach and ocean are not easily accessible. Fine for young people though. Had a wonderful time overall!

Wonderful Beach Getaway

We loved our stay at Beachside! After years of Memorial Day camping, our group decided to get a house this year, and it was a great choice. The house is lovely and bright upstairs, with great views of the water and mountains. We had cloudy and rainy weather (I'm glad we weren't in a tent), so we didn't see Baker or the Cascades, but it was still wonderful. We explored the beach, took excursions to Fairhaven and Bellingham, and enjoyed playing games at the house. We took out the bikes one day and explored the walking paths near the marina. It's a beautiful area. The rooms were comfy, and with five of us (four adults and one teen), we all had plenty of room. We would recommend and would definitely come back to enjoy more beach and views with better weather.

Great family spot!

The house was as advertised and host communication was prompt and easy! We stayed for a quick weekend -two tweens, two teens, and two adults. The neighborhood and house was perfect for us all. Some of us hung at the beach, some got couch time, and the neighborhood was great for walking and jogging. We did a day trip to Bellingham and had the rest of our meals in the small but well-equipped kitchen. You will need to pack cooking oil (we forgot) but there was salt and pepper in the kitchen. The host left treats that everyone loved - thank you! Good sized dining table and living room meant we all had space to share or we could retreat to comfy rooms. Beds were all comfortable. Only downside was a bit of tiny sugar ants - which I don't think can be avoided and were not a huge problem for us. There was a note about making sure to pick up food to help prevent ants so we were careful. We would absolutely return for a calm escape with water and mountain views.

Perfect Refuge

This gorgeous, peaceful and comfortable home was a perfect destination. It had all the necessary amenities, had the best unobstructed water view and the gracious thoughtfulness of the hosts was unparalleled. We would undoubtedly look here first for our next twice-annual trip to Ferndale.

Wonderful waterfront retreat!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming home. The living space is on the upper floor so you can sit on the couch and see the Puget Sound and Mt Baker. You can tell the owners care about this place and their visitors. The kitchen is well stocked, it is clean, it is happy and homey. Oh and the beds are very comfortable. We will be back!

Wonderful nest during stormy weather

The second floor living area was a delightful, cozy, nest for us during a very windy, cold, January visit. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Views east to Mt Baker and west to San Juan Islands. Three comfy sofas arranged around a gas fireplace kept us warm.

Beach house

We loved our stay in this cozy beach home. Great views of the mountains, the sea and beautiful sunsets. Fun strolling on the beach and walking in the conservation area across the street. We all agreed that it’d be so fun to stay in warmer weather to take advantage of all the wonderful outdoor spaces.

Relaxing vacation with stunning views

This home is everything it seems and more. It is clean, comfortable, and relaxing with the best views around. We saw beautiful sunrises and sunsets and so many different birds on our walks. The hosts were attentive and kind and we definitely hope to be back someday.

Waterfront Gem

We were looking for peace and quiet with awesome views. We found it here! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen accommodations and the living area were spacious. There was plenty of deck space with comfortable furniture. The firepit and lawn chairs on the waterfront were a nice touch. We had views of Mt. Baker to the east and Vancouver Island to the west. While we spent most of our time touring the area, this beachside home was a pleasure to come "home" to!

Perfect family getaway to celebrate my wife's birthday!

This beautifully situated, well-appointed three-bedroom home brought a huge smile to my wife's face as we surprised her with a family getaway for her birthday! The three bedrooms provided ample space for my wife and myself plus our three adult daughters and one son-in-law. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood, the sunrises over the Cascades, and the fresh, salty air!

September stay on the Pacific

The house and the views were excellent. You could see the sunrise when sitting on the deck over the garage and you could see the sunset and ocean when sitting on the deck at the other end of the house. The house is extremely clean and well maintained. The beds were extremely comfortable which is very unusual for a VRBO. Again, we must say the house was beautiful and we would stay there again.

We are an active family of 5 that loves the ocean. We find Beachside to be a wonderful place to relax and create fun family memories. When we are here we can be found combing the beach for shells, walking the trails and eating gooey smores around the firepit. The close proximity to Bellingham has allowed us to spend many quality family times here. Our children love the change of pace and the fun activities this home has to offer.

Why they chose this property

Because of the Mt. Baker and Twin Sister views to the east, and the Georgia Strait and island views to the west. It is very close to Bellingham where we live.
