The most EPIC cabin stay ever!

Stayed here for my 30th with friends and family and all I can say is wow, this house is so beautiful and the pictures online don’t even do it justice. There are so many cool zones to hang out which was perfect for the group we were with. The town of Shaver got a bunch of snow before we got there and the back yard was a winter wonderland. One of the days we were there we had a perfect snow day in the backyard, complete with a snow ball fight, building a massive snowman and apperol spritz in the hot tub. It was the perfect cabin to come back to after 2 days of skiing China Peak. We didn’t want to leave! But we will be back.. and I don’t say that often about rentals. Amanda the host was very kind and available if we needed anything. Do yourselves a favor and stay here sometime.

Just a thing or 2

No wash cloths in whole home. Coffee pot broken and ants in sugar. Ice machine did not work. Check out time on website is 9 am as well as in the confirmation email. Printed instructions at home said 10 am. Email from host at 1:00am said 11. It would have allowed us to stay through breakfast and not have to go to bed early the night before. Host was evasive and rude when I messaged her about this.

Perfect for family gathering

Granite Mountain Retreat was the perfect fit for my family’s summer trip. We celebrated my sister’s 40 birthday and wanted room for my 4 siblings and their families. This place did not disappoint. We are planning a return trip for the winter.

Wonderful Stay

The house was exactly as advertised and Amanda was super attentive to our needs and questions. Great spot to stay for a large group w/ kids looking for a base of operations for their snow trip and the house itself had plenty of entertainment options for after the snow. The kitchen was well equipped to handle our large cooking demands (both in quantity and variety). Beds were comfy. Can't wait to stay again someday!

Amazing cabin

Me and my family loved the house. Amanda was easy to communicate with everything was perfect. House has a lot of entertainment and very spacious for sure we’ll be back thank you again.
