Nice rooms with plenty of space and gathering area for our group of 8. This is a duplex and the upper area was unoccupied during our stay. We had a short visit, but the area was quiet and we felt comfortable and safe. Plenty of amenities nearby and a short drive to the arena. Recognize that the 4th bedroom has triple bunk beds and is really set up for children since the space between the beds is small. Very enjoyable stay and the host is friendly and helpful.
Everything was great, except the house was really cold. Next time add curtains to the living room that will help with the cold living room and cold floors. Other than that it was great. Will stay again.
The townhouse is large and comfortable, we only had 6 people and the space could have accommodated more. Good location in South Salt Lake, easy access to grocery stores and the freeway
Very nice and spacious. But the real challenge is there is an upper level that had people check in the same night we did and they were loud and jumping up & down. We can feel all that downstairs - need to do something about the noise. All else was superb!!
The home was clean and looked like it was very newly remodeled. The beds were comfortable and we fit 4 adults and 5 teens/pre-teens with no problems. We only wished that there were window coverings on the front windows and to have a few more kitchen wares and appliances, but we reached out to the owner about this and he responded that he would get those things right away for the next renters. Overall a great experience.
the house was clean and neat as new.
location is great, so close to highway i-80.
one suggestion I have is more kitchenets. the house have basic sets and they were just enough for our visit. however, I've seen many houses have extra kitchenets (more pots, knives, plates, bowls and etc.) and they could be useful at times.
Overall, I'm very satisfied with my stay and I'm willing to come back.
Interior nice but can hear occupants movements in rental above property
The furnishings are new. The triple twin bunk bed is definitely for small children. We heard the occupants upstairs walking around and moving their luggage, even their talking at times. It kept some of us up at night. There were four bath towels, three wash cloths, and three hand towels in the rental. The dishes had not been removed from the dishwasher. There were no condiments in the rental. Renters must bring everything.
My family of 5 stayed for a couple of days. We have two teens and a 7 year old so the separate bedrooms with queens were appreciated by the teens and the triple bunk was a highlight for my 7 year old. The property was clean and very recently remodeled and nicely decorated. The 3 bathrooms came in handy, the property owner was prompt in communications and overall it was a great stay. One improvement would be bath mats or at least a few more towels for a spare to put on the floor for getting out of the tub/shower. If you are hot or cold in the room with the Lion picture try opening one vent and closing vent. The second night was much more comfortable after employing that strategy!
Overall the house (duplex) was very nice and clean. The kitchen needs more supplies like a sharp knife. Nothing to cut with in the kitchen. We were on the bottom of a duplex and you can hear every single thing above you if there is someone renting above. The first couple of days no one was there so it was great but the last few days had renters and it was very noisy and kept us from sleeping.
Recently remodeled and well done. Beds were comfy and having three bathrooms was great for our competing cheerleaders to be able to get ready. My complaints were that there was nowhere in the house for our group to sit and hang out together or to eat a meal together. One small table in the kitchen with three chairs and three barstools at the counter. We had wanted to play a game but it wasn’t comfortable. The living room also does not adequately seat the amount of people the house advertises. I would suggest providing extra toilet paper to your guests- we had about three squares in one of the bathrooms on arrival and running straight to the store after a day of travel was not what we wanted to do.
The property was great! Lots of space! The bathrooms were nice and clean. It was kind of dirty though and one bed had dirty sheets. The water did not work in the fridge so we could not make ice cubes and had to go get some. There was not a knife to cut fruit with either. There was only one tv that we could get to work and we found the remote under the bed along with dust balls and trash.
Also we were not allowed to check in until 4 and had to be checked out by 10am the next morning. All other places I’ve stayed have a check of 11:00 or noon.
PROS:
Very CLEAN and updated
4 bedrooms (w/smart tvs in each room, if you like that)
3 BATHROOMS w/ SHOWERS (one of the bedrooms has its own bathroom)
Responsive host
Kids loved bunkbeds
CONS:
Concave beds, not very comfy (bring your own pillow for better sleep results)
Bunkbeds very close together; not good if claustrophobic
Warmish in bedrooms despite turning heat down (I did see box fans in each closet, but you don't expect to need them in the middle of winter and don't want to get up and set up in the middle of the night. Could be a clue as to how a summer stay would be. Ceiling fans would be a great investment.)
No window coverings in front part of house
No washrags
Ridiculously thin tp
Things (or people) that go bump in the night (Be sure to leave a light on somewhere if you need to get up during the night; a nightlight would be a thoughtful touch in the long, windy hallway.)
Be careful backing out of driveway on left side, as there is a telephone pole there.
It was a perfect room/bed configuration for our extended family, which was hard to find at an affordable price, so thanks for that! Especially loved all the bathrooms. Nice and clean. Not very comfortable sleeping.
