not clean

This property is not well maintained and I am not sure how it even gets clean. One of the cabinets in the kitchen smells like rotten milk. The linoleum floor in the bathroom is peeling up and there is no way the floor is able to be cleaned effectively. There was a bug in the paper towel roll. I was afraid to walk barefoot, eat, or keep food in the property because of how unsanitary it felt. I definitely could not shower in the property and the paint from the bath tub is peeling up.

Great location but needs TLC

The location of the property was great, easy to walk or take public transportation. But the property was dirty! Lots of dust bunnies in the corners, cobwebs along the ceilings, vents in the bathroom were caked in dust & dirt. Bath towels had footprints (not ours!) on them. And the place smelled heavily of cleaner that had clearly not been used. The door lock was also questionable, needs to be replaced/fixed.

Property itself was very old. The entrance to the apartment building had a cracked glass door. The property owner was very nice, accommodating, and responsive. It gets the job done if you need a roof over your head, small kitchen, and warm shower.

I would not stay again

The location was great. Bed was comfortable. Heating was not great, it didn't kick on till the middle of the night and was very loud with clanging. The bathroom floor linoleum was all warped and curled up. It was a safety hazard. The furniture was beat up a bit. I would not recommend for anyone who is older or unsteady on their feet as the tub also was old and slopped. If you have a car there is not a parking spot with the place and it is paid parking. Sunday is free to park and between 8pm-8am. So we had to usually pay a few hours in the morning and evening. There is also the tram running right next to the place.

It was described as vintage, but was very old and the shower was barely in working condition. For the cost, it was worse than a 2 star hotel.

Inaccurate Listing and no Refund

We got there and immediately we could tell that the listing was inaccurate, paint was peeling, there were spiderwebs on the ceiling, the couch was filthy and covered in hair, this are a few of the problems. We left without sleeping there and asked for a refund, the owner stopped answering as soon as I contacted regarding a refund. Melissa does not answer any phone calls or texts, I was scammed.

Inaccurate and missing photos

This stay never occurred. This was for a 30yr anniversary. I was there 5 minutes and left. I should be receiving a full refund per the VRBO rep. The kitchen paint was peeling in BIG chunks from the wall. The bathroom tub surface and flooring was peeling and the water was brown. There was no mention about the light rail being literally right outside the window and it was VERY loud. There was a pickleball court across the street very noisy. The rug shown in the living room was missing and the floor was popping as we stepped in.

Belltown large studio plus

Perfect location to access Space Needle area, Pike's Market, Seattle Art Museum, etc. Very walkable and safe area with a lot of very good restaurants nearby. Host was very friendly, communicative and responsive and it was easy to find and access the VRBO. The space was larger than anticipated with a separate kitchen (with all needed utensils) and a large closet as well as the living/bedroom area. Interesting old building with great architectural touches but the unit has areas that are warn and the carpet needs cleaning. The space was overall very clean but the floor needed additional care/vacuuming. Bed was comfortable, TV and internet worked fine. Overall, we had a nice stay.

The property was spacious, elegant, and very warm during our November stay. Such a convenient location, and it had a well-equipped kitchen. Would highly recommend.
