The description on VRBO specifies bedroom 3 with two double beds. Bedroom 3 actually has a queen trundle bed, therefore was not conducive for four male occupants. One of the occupants had to sleep on the living room couch. The voice on the living room TV did not work properly. The cookware in the kitchen was lacking, hence we had to purchase a large flying pan. Also, did not have any large mixing/salard bowls.
Our family had a wonderful stay in this beautiful Aztec home…had everything we needed for meals and making ourselves feel at home.
Location was perfect and backyard gave our pups a place to play!
Plus, close to mountain biking, hiking, ruins, the river and so much more!
Would definitely stay here again!
The host was very understanding , respectful and accommodating, came to celebrate a birthday with family out of state and enjoyed every minute the house was very clean , beautiful in the inside and very comfy along with tons of extra plus’s ! Ide definitely stay here again .
We were in the area to fish the San Juan and could not have found a more perfect property. At the end of long, tiring, and incredibly fun days, this house was the perfect place to return to relax and recoup. We would say it is exactly as pictured, but it's really even better. Super cute. Plenty of room. Very clean. Great back yard. Communication with the owners was very easy. While we didn't need much, they were very responsive to our questions. We will be back to the area for more fishing trips...and this will be our choice for a place to stay!
We stayed here for an event in town and it was wonderful! We had everything we needed and more! This place will definitely be first in our list when we return to the area!
This might be the best VRBO property I have ever been to
Certainly top 3. Not kidding. Very clean property. Very quiet location. Very responsive owners. It was a very spacious house that was very comfortable for our family. We had a bit of a problem at check in (somehow the information to get access was never sent to us), but Thomas immediately took care of us and resolved the situation.
I travel to the Four Corners area several times a year. I would certainly repeat a stay here. Would recommend to anyone...including those considering a stay in Durango.
Relatively new spacious home in quiet neighborhood.
The 3-bedroom 2-bath home was in a relatively new neighborhood. It had a large brightly lit kitchen (both by natural and interior lighting) with a door that opened to a large covered patio that faced west providing some spectacular sunsets. The kitchen door also had a doggy door and the backyard had a nice yard and gardens bordered by a 6-foot stuccoed wall; so ideal for a dog. The kitchen was very clean and modern with a Keurig coffee maker with numerous flavors available but no sweeteners, so bring your own. Cooking utensils were placed in drawers away from the stove so didn't actually find them until the day after we needed them. The air conditioner is located on the roof which made it a little louder than if on the ground but not a big deal. Once we figured out how to get there we found it a convenient location for why were there and to pickup takeout food for dinner. Would be an excellent place for a large family or 2 couples. If into cooking like we are bring your own spices.
We were so happy to stay in this lovely home! It was super clean with all the amenities anybody could ask for. Loved the kitchen! The back patio was a treat for happy hour after long hikes. The trees had nice outdoor lighting that made it festive. My bed was very comfortable, and the linens and towels were all really nice. I loved the comfort of the air conditioning system. Even though there were only two of us, this home would be ideal for a larger group. If we ever get back to the Aztec area, this will be our home sweet home again.
Our family all gathered for Christmas this year and half of us stayed at this house. We had plenty of room and space to gather, sleep, and play board games. :) The owner was incredibly helpful and responsive to any questions we had. Thank you again for a wonderful stay.
