The space
Welcome to San Antonio! Our 2bd/3.5ba beautiful townhome is in the historic Beacon Hill Neighborhood. With its central location and multiple separate sleeping areas, our is perfect for family and friend-group vacations.
We are also set up to host remote workers, as we are those too and understand your needs. It has high speed WiFi and two separate dedicated working areas, so a couple can both sit on meetings without disturbing each other.
Finally, we’ve tried to design the space so that it feels luxurious, but cozy, with warm touches and private nooks. With the great room set among the trees, it really feels like a lofty treehouse.
The Space
The main living area is an open space with plenty of room to gather with friends and family and multiple seating areas. We have board games, a large TV, and plenty of art from local and well-known artists.
The open kitchen features a breakfast bar, quartz counters, and full-sized appliances. You will find the kitchen stocked with a variety of necessities and everything you need to host a meal. The dining area seats six and is adjacent to the kitchen. Next to the kitchen is an intimate balcony to eat outside when the weather is pleasant. The main floor has a half bathroom. Finally, there is a library of books for you to read during your stay.
Safety features in the home include combo smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, fire extinguisher (located next to the fridge), first aid kit, and bandages.
The main bedroom is a tranquil and peaceful space set up for you to unwind. The king-sized bed is made up with a down alternative comforter with duvet cover, high-thread count sheets, and plush pillows. There is an en-suite full sized bathroom with double sinks and a large walk-in shower. The walk-in closet includes a pack n play travel crib that may be set up in the bedroom for little ones and plenty of space for clothes (there is also a dresser). The room is equipped with a large smart TV and has its own private balcony with a nice seating area and view of the nearby historic homes.
The second bedroom is furnished with a queen bed, down alternative comforter with duvet cover, and high-thread count sheets. This extra cozy room also features a full-size desk set up for those who work remotely or who just need to check their email. The desk even includes a large monitor. Next to the room is a bathroom with a comfortable soaking tub.
The third sleeping area is in the main room (no private door) and includes a very comfortable fold-out queen bed with quilts. There is a half bath on this floor for those midnight trips to the bathroom. (Note: this is truly the most comfortable fold-out bed I’ve ever tried, no joke.)
The fourth sleeping area is set up for one person and set in the cozy bottom floor. The bed is a very sturdy fold out twin bed. Also on the first floor is a working and reading area. It’s my favorite room in the house.
Both balconies offer great spaces to relax and hang out. Grab your morning coffee or grab a quick meal to enjoy on the bistro setting.
The garage has a washer and dryer for the guests’ use.
Guest access
The house is in a quiet, historic neighborhood with free street parking available. If you choose to park in the single garage/car port in the house, you will need to open with a code. There is a code to access the house.
Other things to note
The house is stocked with a starter amount of basic supplies. There are many stores close by for additional supplies as needed.
The second bedroom closet is locked for the owner’s use. Guests do not have access to these two closets.
There is a ring security camera located on the exterior of the property. It is at the front doorbell.
