This house was great for our stay. The finishes were completely updated. Its in the trees which we loved. The living room was a little small for the 4 of us to watch a movie, but we made it work.
We had a pleasant stay at this property. The property manager was very responsive, which was great since we lost power after dark and thankfully were able to find a couple battery lights to help. I would definitely stay again.
The property was delightful. I especially liked the fact the there was a doggie door and fenced back yard. All of the furnishings and housewares were in great condition and the the inside nicely updated.
Great getaway!!!
The property was clean and the grounds are nice. However the house stayed pretty cold. They could not get it up to a comfortable temperature. it was cold outdoors, and the house would not heat up much. Our son, who lived in Nevada City for a long time said the house needs more than jus the two small units for the winter months.
Easy to find. Perfect for two couples, one who cannot use stairs so the downstairs bedroom was great. Very much enjoyed the veranda and sitting outside in the early morning and evenings. One suggestion: perhaps a kitchen dishtowel would be helpful.
The place is very relaxing. Kitchen was fully stocked, pots, pans, etc. The nights were so peaceful and quiet. Fishing just a little ways down the road. The town down the street was awesome! If you need to get away from all the stress of city this is the place. Owner was very responsive and welcoming. First time on Vrbo and it was a great experience.
It was in a lovely quiet wooded setting. It was totally clean and with all the accoutrements we needed: coffee pot and coffee, sugar, etc. oil for cooking, spices. Comfortable beds with lots of pillows, and even baggies for our dog (though we brought our own). The air conditioners were great in the 90+ weather. We will happily seek it out again when we come to this area.
