Cabin 4 - Cozy 3-bedroom lakefront
This cabin is one of our lakefront cabins and features 2 bedrooms, a lofted 3rd "bedroom" sleeping area, and a futon in the living area. The cabin has a warm knotty pine interior, a fully equipped kitchen, a covered front porch, picnic tables, and a gas grill. We have 150 ft of shoreline on Houghton Lake giving you direct access to the lake for all seasons. There is ample parking, including for trailers. We also have a playground, public great room, and coin laundry onsite.
Houghton Lake is a great boating and fishing lake. Our beach area is shallow and sandy making it great for swimming. There are many fantastic all-season trails in the area for riding too.

About the host

I am originally from Michigan and my parents had a cabin in the area when I was younger. The resort was named after my Great-grandfather's resort in Wisconsin. Sunset Resort has been in my family for over 15 years now.
Why they chose this property
Myself, my wife, and my 2 young kids all love being outside and enjoying many different outdoor activities. The Houghton Lake area provides anything and everything that you'd like to do outside from fishing to golfing, trail riding, cross-country skiing, or just relaxing.
What makes this property unique
Our Resort has private direct lake access and sits on almost 2 acres of property. We have many cabins that can provide privacy or room for large groups. We also have a lodge with extra rooms and a public great room for gathering.
