Perdido Key is the perfect quiet and family-friendly beach town. It offers wildlife viewing at the beautiful Johnson Beach National Seashore state park, as well as multiple hiking trails and historic landmarks. There are so many adventures to choose from such as; fishing charters to take you to the best spots only locals know about, and don't forget to try one of the Dolphin cruises to experience the open water in a way you will most certainly never forget. Beautiful, clean unit with amazing views!

Absolutely loved the view from our unit! The place was exactly as pictured and very clean. It was a little chilly outside during our stay, so we were VERY thankful to have the heated pool and hot tub. Good location, just minutes from Publix and a handful of restaurants and about a half hour from attractions in Gulf Shores and Pensacola. Check in and check out were a breeze. While it wasn't an issue for my family, the sliding glass door in the living room to the balcony is a bit difficult to open and close - if you're disabled or elderly you might have difficulties with it. No issues with the sliding glass door from the master to the balcony. We would definitely stay here again!

Let’s clean out the attic!

The furnishings were ok. Just looks like they brought everything they wanted to replace from home. The instructions for the tvs, were for some other tv. Had no local broadcast, could only use my streaming subscriptions.

My wife and I took a last minute vacation to the Key for a little relaxation and sun. We had been here 22 years ago and really liked the area. We ate at some fine restaurants, shopped and just had overall a great time. The condo at Palacio was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Really a wonderful stay.

Parking

The property was nice but online it said there was onsite parking guaranteed for renters, but I had to park across the street for 5 out of 6 days I found that TOTALLY unacceptable!! If you don't actually have the parking available don't say you do and if the parking is available then security needs tightened up so actual renters are allowed to park on property... Walking across a busy Street is not my idea of a good time traffic was so heavy at times it would take 15 to 20 minutes to get across.

Beautiful condo! We spend many peaceful hours on the balcony enjoying the view. Beach, pools awesome

Amazing View but

The condo itself was great. The view was amazing. The issues we had were with Palacio as a whole. This is our third time staying there and, unfortunately, probably the last. This visit and last there were elevator issues. Last time we had to walk to our 10th floor condo due to both elevators being down. This time only one was down but still caused delays. And the smell in the foyer area was awful….like a dead fish smell. Also very frustrating to be there several days with no guests using arm bands only to have management decide to enforce arm bands with no notice to anyone. If you did not have your wristband (since they had not been required) then you were stuck in the garage until someone came through that had a wristband or you were stuck in the bathroom area at the pool. Thankfully, we always had a wristband but many guests did not. Another issue was the lack of enforcement of people setting up tents and chairs in the very front of the rental beach chairs when the rules clearly stated No Tents on front row. People pay a lot to rent those chairs only to have their space invaded by beach tents right in front of them. As stated, the condo itself was great with no issues. But the overall management of the Palacio was very disappointing.

What a great condo, beautiful view!

This condo was AMAZING! Right on the water, gulf breezes and sounds of the waves at night, plenty of room for the 5 of us. We cooked Easter dinner there and had most of what we needed (no potato masher but we improvised with other items in the drawers). The patio was huge, lounging chairs were nice and the bistro table was good to eat breakfast and dinners at while enjoying the gulf view. The property itself is very nice. 2 pools and 1 hot tub. One pool was heated to at least 85-90 degrees so it was good to use at night too or on days when it was only 70 degrees air temp. Its about 25-30 mins away from Pensacola Naval Air Station which is why we were down there visiting my Marine, the drive was a little longer than expected because the back gate to base is only open at certain times so we had to go thru the main gate each time, but we managed. If you want to visit the NAS museum definitely use the back gate, its about 10 mins closer than the main gate. Parking is the only thing I will caution about. One night we had to park in the condo lot next door because all the spots were taken, so beware, if you come back late at might there might not be spots left. Luckily we were not towed, our parking pass for Palacio was clearly displayed so perhaps that helped us not get towed from the other property? Other than that, which wasn't that bad of an inconvenience, everything was amazing, clean, well equipped. Exactly what we expected if not going above our expectations! Unforgettable!
