Awesome Space

We loved our stay here - great location, beautiful yurt and very cozy beds. Wish we could have stayed longer than 1 night!

First time yurters!

We loved our stay at the yurt. The host was very responsive and helpful. We did get a lot of wind and rain but that’s Hawaii for you. The yurts had everything we needed. The village had a grocery store and one of the best coffee shops in the area. It is rural so expect rooster calls and dogs barking.

Beautiful relaxing stay with helpful attentive hosts

What a delightful find for our family of 8! Lots of room for everyone to spread out and relax between the 2 yurts. Beds and furniture were comfy, the interior lighting (esp around the inside top edge of the yurt) gave a cozy feel, and everything was spic and span clean. The deck with picnic table and shade umbrella would have been the idyllic place for us to gather while grilling and enjoying the amazing view and sweet breezes -- if we only would have had just one more night! Mahalo, John and family -- we hope to be seeing you all again soon!!

Amazing

My family (all 6 of us) loved staying here and would stay again!! Our only regret was staying for only 1 night! The host, John, was fantastic! Anyone who has stayed in Kona, try this place! For the price and the experience it is so worth it! I would definitely stay again when the opportunity arises.

Home base while renovating forever home.

My husband & I are renovating our forever home in Ocean View & needed somewhere to lay our heads at night. John’s yurt more than met the criteria. From being spotlessly clean to wonderfully decorated we couldn’t have asked for more. If I had to find fault with anything it was the large set of stairs one must climb to access the yurt (although John & his grandson are there upon your arrival to assist with your luggage, also upon checking out), & the bathroom is not physically attached to the yurt. Neither of these were mentioned in the description. However, we simply lived our stay & will be recommending it to all our friends & family who come to see us when we don’t have room.
