Perfect home for myself, my husband and our two children. Beautiful waking up on the water, nice quiet neighborhood, and the host Chucke was so incredibly responsive to all questions! Such a pleasure.
We had an excellent time. House is in an excellent area. Very comfortable and clean. Great communication with the host at all times. We would definitely stay again.
When you open the front door your eyes are drawn to the beautiful view. My husband I are seniors and we enjoyed the single level living and spent a lot of time on the deck watching the ducks and geese. Kitchen well stocked and furniture comfortable. Fireplace an added bonus.
We pretty much enjoyed our stay. The house was a good size, and the neighborhood was very nice. There was a problem with the heating controls in the house, though. It was extremely windy and cold in the area when we were there, and I turned the heat up to warm the house as there were drafts and then discovered in the middle of the night that the system was turning itself down to 55 degrees and it was very cold in the house. The system appeared to be set and locked so I couldn't reset it so had to get up during the night both nights in order to turn the heat up. Host should probably rethink the heat settings when someone is renting the house during cold weather. Additionally, the stove appeared to have had someone put cleaning solution on the top of the range and it was all over it to the point where it ran down the front of the stove and onto the floor. If possible, I would suggest the host have someone inspect the house after it has been cleaned before someone else rents it to avoid situations such as the messy stove.
Thanks!
