This was a clean, lovely and well appointed place to call home for a few days. The manager was very responsive to questions and to refilling items that ran out during our stay.
Accuracy of listing was given 4 stars because you need to be a mountain goat to sleep on the top bunk so one of our group needed to sleep on the couch.
Well, that was awesome! Location: never more than 100 feet from bike and boat rentals to store and restaurants. People: AWESOME and supportive! The condo itself we well built, and decorated. Always hot water and always coffee on the deck each morning!
The property is recently remodeled and extremely clean. Suite 4 even had a windows where we could see Lake McDonald from inside our suite. It was very quite and serene. A great place to recover from being outside and active all day. There are two bathrooms with large showers and plentiful towels.
The patio was a nice place to hang out and have the morning coffee, looking out over the lake and mountains It was wonderful having a full kitchen in the room allowing us to cook full meals and some down time away from bustle of Glacier. Be aware the coffee maker ensuite is a Keurig pod with a wide variety of pods, not ground drip. According to my wife the place right downstairs made wonderful artistic espresso.
Only downside is parking in Apgar Village area is difficult at times. We were there in mid-August so parking everywhere at Glacier is an issue. A tip to help with this, there is road side parking near the McDonald River and there is a nice short paved path that leads right to the rooms. When we were at Glacier parking near room opened up after about 6:00 PM. So parked by the river during the day and moved car into lot at night.
It was on the third floor. My friend and I are both 70. We asked for help and a young gentleman who is an employee helped us. Place is very new and has everything you heed
The place was very clean and nice. The pics do not do justice for the description of the place. The pics make it look dated and it is very modern. My only complaint was I hadn’t received information on checking in and I had to reach out to the host on the day we were due to arrive to get that information. Other than that it was super nice and cozy.
The owners spared no expense on this beautiful lodge-style condo. Couldn't ask for a better location, just above Eddie's Cafe & Merc store. Everything in Apgar is walkable. This place has everything including a spacious corner porch with great views of Lake MacDonald. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Make sure you get check in instructions before you lose a cell signal driving to Apgar. Wifi in the condo is awesome! Worth every penny!
The owner did a really great job turning the units into 5-star accommodations! We were one of the first guests to stay there. Only a few seconds walk from Lake McDonald; nice porch with lake view. Conveniently located In the center of the action at Apgar Village, has a super ice cream shop and cafe on the first floor. Guests should be able to climb three flights of outside stairs to access unit. Again, very impressed with how owner transformed the Lookout Retreat!
