About this property
Autumn Moon Cabin, a nostalgic & cozy home w/in walking distance to amenities.
Welcome to our family cabin! The Autumn Moon Cabin is created to fulfill the nostalgia of childhood and place it in modern times.
You will find most creature comforts in this home, but some are purposefully left out so you can disconnect and relax. Let us take care of you, we provide you with the basics, and a little more, that you may need such as all linens, toiletries, stocked kitchen, and wifi so you will only have to fill your car with what you need.
There's an indoor propane fireplace that will provide just the right ambiance and warmth during the cold months. During the warmer months, the trees provide the perfect shade; not to mention each room has a fan.
Our cabin is located within walking distance to the clubhouse where you can find the outdoor pool, playground, and amazing restaurant, Passing Thyme, and a very short drive to the community lake. If you are looking to explore, there are many trails and the home is within driving distance to the ski mountains.

About the host

Hi, there!
My family and I living in Bordentown City, a small, pre-Revolutionary War town. We began spending holidays in the Poconos, to unwind, during the pandemic and fell in love with the energy of the area.
This place is dear to my heart. In the 70s, my family built a log cabin in the Poconos and I have rich memories of going "up the mountains" and being immersed in nature. I want to bring the feeling of nostalgia and warmth to you.
The memories of mountain life were what inspired my family to purchase this tiny, cozy cabin. We home you feel comfortable, well taken care of, and relaxed while you disconnect here.
Yes, it is still a work in progress, but it is all done with LOVE!
We hope you love our cabin as much as we do!

Why they chose this property
This neighborhood and the neighbors are inviting! The community is what drew us most to purchase our cabin here, along with this cozy home checking nearly all of the boxes we had while searching.
The home is sandwiched between two empty lots, so there is added privacy.
The fact the home is in walking distance to the clubhouse, pool, and restaurant (which has AMAZING food) is a big plus, especially with kids.

What makes this property unique
Inside, we want to keep the warmth, rustic, cozy feel with some modern amenities so you (and us) feel at home. You can work, stream music & videos, have your favorite cup of Joe (or tea), but you can also disconnect, unwind, and reset.
Outside, the energy of the property is very grounding. The boulders create the perfect chairs to meditate or just watch nature move. I personally spend many mornings sitting outside and watch the sun rise.
Big Bass, as a community is top notch. We are within walking distance to the community center/clubhouse, fitness center, stellar restaurant, outdoor pool, & pickle ball courts! The lakes in the community are picturesque and offer their own beauty with each season.
